Beautiful home, but major maintenance and management issues
The house itself is beautiful, but our stay was overshadowed by several unresolved maintenance problems and poor management response.
1. Non‑functional dryer
The dryer did not work from the moment we arrived, and the knob was missing. Despite reporting it immediately, management repeatedly promised it would be fixed “the next day,” yet it was never repaired during our entire stay.
2. Paid for an in‑house gas grill that doesn’t exist
We paid extra for the in‑house gas grill option, only to discover the property does not have a inhome gas grill at all. Instead of apologizing, management told us to rent an outdoor grill separately. When we requested a refund for the service we never received, they initially refused and then refunded the amount minus $5 — with no explanation. This felt completely unreasonable.
3. Bathroom door locks not working
Except for the master bedroom, none of the bathroom door locks worked. We had to keep someone outside the door to prevent accidental entry. We reported this as well, but again, nothing was fixed — only repeated promises with no action.
Overall, the lack of follow‑through from management made our stay stressful and disappointing. Unfortunately, we would not stay at this property again, nor in this community, as it is managed by the same team.
