"Overall the place was nice and quiet and right on the beach. We did run into a few difficulties with the owner of the place as well as some of the appliances not working and the strictness of the house. The privacy from owner to renter was a bit different than other rental properties we have stayed at. The place itself was lovely and very convenient for the area. The bikes were a great addition and it made it easy to get to places without having to pull the car out. "

"Our host Connie was extremely rude, I was losing connection while speaking to her over the phone regarding a early check in and when I told her the call was breaking up nicely, she irritably screamed into the phone what she had to say. "The villa has a lot of atmosphere. It is an old house, which gives it a lot of character, some things may call for a bit of upkeep at first sight, but you forget once you settle down in the wonderful house and garden. The house is in a small, very close community, and even though there are many neighbors, it is extremely quiet and very safe and welcoming. People constantly walking their dogs - which we like, we love dogs. Laguna and Dana Point just around the corner. Great shopping in the area....

"Two blocks from the beach. Great house with great space inside and out. The property Manager was very responsive. Great area close to the beach, restaurants, the Balboa Pier and Lido Village. We bought our dogs and there was plenty of space with an enclosed front patio and enclosed backyard. And there’s a supermarket one block away. We would definitely stay here again. "
