This is a small centrally located hotel with a lot of charm. A good alternative to much pricier hotels around.

This hotel exceeded our expectations with its friendly staff, immaculate cleanliness, stylish decor, and incredibly comfortable bedding. The room service was impressively fast, and the prime location just steps from the zocalo was incredibly convenient. While the elevator was out of order during our stay, the staff kindly assisted with our luggage, and the opportunity to take the stairs provided a welcome chance for exercise. We loved our stay and would definitely return to this gem of a hotel."

This beautiful hotel is a few blocks from the zocalo (square). It is very clean & well maintained; decorated with Mexican art & lighting. You really feel like you’re in Mexico. We arrived early & were able to get into our room. The hotel staff were so warm & always helpful. Our room (superior) was spacious & comfortable. The bed a bit softer than our liking. Great a/c! Oaxaca City was hot! Large bathroom, good lighting, big shower, lots of hot water. There was no elevator, but one was being installed during our stay. The restaurant was convenient. Breakfast not included with our stay. We mostly ate out, but did have a light breakfast & cocktails there. The staff were very nice & efficient. We really enjoyed our stay at Parador San Miguel & would return. The only negative to add was we were in room 201. Early in the morning you can hear staff below preparing for their work in the hotel. We’re early risers, so it was not a problem. If you sleep in you may prefer another location.

Parador San Miguel is a friendly, clean, and charming boutique hotel. We greatly enjoyed our stay. It's conveniently located just a few blocks from the Zòcalo, city square and the heart of Oaxaca. The interior courtyard and rooftop terrace are peaceful and relaxing, and the hotel restaurant offers excellent and varied options all hours of the day until late in the evening.

Way below the standards they claim to have
Absolute disappointment with the arrogant manager in turn whereby not only refused to accept responsibility but gave false accusations resulting in a disturbing dispute completely disrupting our honeymoon. We chose this hotel for being classified as a "boutique luxury hotel" and part of the Petits Hotels affiliates who are supposed to known for their excellent premises and personalized service. However, this was very misleading and far from what they claim to be. This review is truthful and accurate and there is tangible proof of it all.

The place was very clean, beautifully decorated, and staff was gracious and always ready to help. The location is a block away from el Zocalo. We would stay again.

Perfect place to stay in Oaxaca! The staff is very attentive and hotel convenient to Zocalo Mercado and restaurants. The hotel is well maintained and decor is lovely. We love staying there!

The check in was quick and smooth, the room was inviting and comfortable, the shower was large with great water pressure . The restaurant had wonderful breakfast. It was centrally located so we were able to walk everywhere. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great in the heart of Zocolo. The accommodations were just ok. For the price I was expecting something fancier or a better laid out room. At the very least a desk for working would have been nice. All in all, a functional place to stay but could have been better. .

We booked two rooms and were upgraded to a suite and a junior suite. Both rooms were large and attractive. The junior suite, however, had a great deal of street noise which made it hard for our daughter to sleep. The location of the hotel was great for walking everywhere in Centro. The hotel office staff were polite but not warm or welcoming. The restaurant staff varied wildly from helpful and attentive to not even allowing us to order food/drinks. We did not like the caged birds; it was upsetting to see them and made it hard to enjoy eating on the patio. Lastly, most hotels of this caliber provide free bottled water on demand. This one only provided a small carafe the first night and nothing after that. In short, I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. There are better options at this price point.

The hotel is pristine, beautifully decorated. It feels like you travelled back to another time when people lived in these grand houses. The staff is super nice. The rooms look bigger in the pictures. We booked a king room and there was not enough space in the room to sit and drink our coffee. The tv, while large, was set up atop an armoire and it was difficult to watch it. Internet wifi was slow and because we needed to work. we ended up having to use our own network (at a cost), because connecting to zoom or meet was nearly impossible. I would not recommend the hotel for an executive needing to do some work, nor for families.

El hotel es una joya de arquitectura que se mantiene en excelente estado. Muy bien ubicado. Y el servicio es el mejor que pude tener. Las camas y almohadas no son las más cómodas. Pero por la calidad de la limpieza se perdona ese dato.

This is a lovely hotel that highlights Mexican design and cuisine. It’s very close to the zocalo so it’s perfect for walking around Oaxaca’s central area.

The hotel & the restaurant made it extremely difficult to go out to another place to eat because the food in the restaurant was the delicious! The hotel is safe, after 10 pm the main door is closed for extra security. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and very quick to deliver the help you may need. Management was very knowledgeable and as soon as we came in to check in they ordered coffee for me. By far this hotel made my trip the best this year. I love Oaxaca!

Parador San Miguel has an awesome location just one block from Oaxaca’s main square. Everything is within walking distance. Place is quiet and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The Hotel’s restaurant is very good, great service staff and reasonable prices
