The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. "Our entire stay at Coogee Beach House was great. The hostel is very close to the beach and the bus stops. The hostel is cleaned daily, though it’s really hard to control if some of the other guests are not tidy and considerate. My fiancé and I stayed in a shared room. The bed was comfortable. I would just suggest that the management separate guests who are purely tourists from those who are staying long-term to make the stay more comfortable. "I had a small private loft room that was perfect for my budget and needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the linen was good quality. Bathroom was clean. Shower was good. Wifi worked well. The kitchen is very well equipped and kept clean. Plus the location at Bondi Beach is ideal. The city bus stopped very close by. If you want overall great value, this is the place for you. "
