Nice location. Nice staff. But our room felt too basic and shabby. Holes in wall where fixtures were removed. Just strange weird things. Cute place but I would try somewhere else next time.

Small, quiet oasis in bustling Vence
This small, cosy hotel offers a good way to visit Vence without feeling hemmed in by tourists. The best things about the hotel are its quiet location, the in-room air conditioning, the swimming pool, and the on-site parking. The location of the hotel is convenient: it is just a few minutes walk to the busy narrow streets of the historical center and to the Matisse Chapel. Another advantage is that it is very quiet because it is not right in the center of the crowded town. Convenient on-site parking costs 8 Euros per night (reserve ahead). Note that the hotel entrance is on a lower level – take the stairs up to the rooms and pool. Nina at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. We stayed in room number 2, up two flights of stairs. The room was small but the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and walk-in shower are fully equipped. The in-room air conditioning was great – we visited during the heatwave in July. The swimming pool is a major bonus. Take a refreshing dip and then relax on the loungers. Breakfast is included in the price and can be eaten on the terrace but the food quality was not great. A few other things could be improved. The outdoor speakers play rock music from early in the morning until nighttime – totally unnecessary! The in-room fridge needed to be defrosted. The in-room deoderiser was not needed. Summary: Villa Roseraie is a great place to stay when visiting Vence. Although a few things could be improved, we would consider staying here again.

Absolute Gem! The cutest little hotel. Angela, the concierge was very helpful, and went above and beyond to explain every aspect of the property, and nearby area. Would definitely book again.

Nice little Villa hotel
We got a one bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms in the lowest floor, with good view of the garden and can access the garden directly. Very stylish an clean rooms and bathrooms. Staff were nice and helpful. 5 mins walk to the Vence city / old town, with many restaurants (provide breakfast) and a interesting local market. Very nice and relating area.

Meget bra hotell
Familiedrevet hotell, oppholdet var meget bra. Det er det beste hotellet i området. Vi har prøvd alle hotellene i "byen" og dette er det beste. Hyggelig atmosfære, med vennlige eiere. Frokosten, svømmebasseng og baren var helt i henhold til standarden men kan forvente i området. Stort pluss med parkering.

조용하지만 불편했던 숙소
우선, 구글지도로 찾아가기가 애매했고 입구 싸인도 작아서 그냥 지나치기 쉬웠다 숙소위치도 벙스 중심가와는 떨어져있어 마트를 가거나 늦은시간 식당을 찾아 나서기 쉽지 않았다 주인내외는 무척 친절했지만 호텔이 웹상의 사진과는 달리 밝은 분위기는 아니어서 혼자 잤다면 무서웠을 것 같다. 근처에서 묵는다면 방스보다는 생폴 드 방스쪽을 권하고 싶다

Provencal charm
Our family of 4 was looking for a hotel with a local flavor near one of the medieval villages, and the Villa Roseraie was just what we were looking for. The room (suite with balcony) was very spacious with a perfect blend of classic decoration with modern upgrades, had a great outdoor garden area, and was a 5-10 min walk to the town center. The hosts were fantastic, providing a great French breakfast with eggs to order and helping feel at home.

Excellent choice - friendly and cozy small Hotel
Charming and well located small hotel in a good location near Vence's city center. Friendly (and fluent in English) owners helped us with directions and suggestions about best nearby tourist attractions, which was very nice. The room we stayed in (for 2 nights) is comfortable and nicely decorated (on the 3rd floor) but because there is no elevator, guests need to be prepared to use the stairways. The area is safe and within walking distance to the city center. Free Wi-Fi worked fairly well in our room and complimentary bottle of water and coffee in the room are nice touches. Arriving by car was easy following the car's GPS and the hotel offers free parking in the premises. Hotel's gate closes at 9:00PM but after you checked in they will give you a code to the gate so you can go in and out without a problem (it seems that if you would arrive after 9:00PM you would need to make arrangements with management for a "late" check in. Since we had a car we can't say how easy or difficult would it be to get around the Vence area using taxis or public transportation. The hotel offers breakfast for a fee (EUR 12.00 per person) but we did not take breakfast there so we can't comment on it but judging by how well kept the entire hotel is, I assume it should be good for the money. We would stay again at this hotel without hesitation and would recommend it to other travelers as well.

雰囲気最高、バカンス満喫ホテル
観光ホテルというより、日本のペンションのような雰囲気のホテルです。オーナー夫婦が、切り盛りしています。暗唱番号付きゲートのある駐車場があり、玄関ドアの鍵も渡してくれるので、夜間の外出も可能です。プール付きの広く、花が咲き乱れるお庭での美味しい朝食は、まさにプロヴァンスのバカンスです。グレープフルーツ・ジュースが美味しかった。食器は、Villeory & Bochで統一され、庭園や室内の置物、家具等もアンティック雰囲気に統一されています。我々の部屋は、所謂屋根裏部屋でしたが、天窓が二つあり、星が眺められました。キングサイズのダブルベッドには、天蓋が付き、アンティックな回転テーブルとベッドサイド・ランプが素敵でした。とにかく、ホテル外観、庭園、調度品、食器と趣味が統一されており、ゆっくりバカンスを楽しめるホテルです。オーナー夫妻も明るく親切です。城壁に囲まれたヴァンス旧市街も散策が楽しめる街です。

Very nice and cozy hotel, good location
Me and my wife had awesome time there. The hotel was cozy, the rooms were very nice, clean, and they had a lot of character. The owners were very helpful from right out of start personally showing the room plus gave some good recommendations for the local dining experience. Sadly we were able to stay in the area only for one night, but I would definitely go back for more extended vacation and stay in this hotel.

Nice "charm" to small, cozy hotel. Gregory was kind, pleasant and spoke good English. Our room, although small, had a comfortable bed, nicely decorated in French motif and was stocked with olive fragranced amenities in the bathroom. My only disappointment was the breakfast offered prepackaged bakery items and the fruit looked a few days old...no worries as we walked to the market square (10 min) and had breakfast there. Pleasant experience otherwise.

Dear Maria, Bonjour and thank you for letting us your comment, As you didn't take the breakfast at the hotel, you didn't see that we serve fresh bread (3 different kind) croissant, eggs and ham, all these are not on the buffet as we serve it outside from 8 to 11, we keep all the fresh food in the kitchen and serve them at each guest having breakfast... perhaps at another occasion, if we have the pleasure to see you again, you'll try our breakfast! The hotel and its garden were beautiful. Hosts were very helpful. For example they change immediately the mattress when I told there was a hole middle of it. They also wanted to wash our car because birds were pooped on it. :D The breakfast was good. This is not a five star hotel, but maybe that's just one good thing about it. We had everything we needed and the good service was a big part of it.

It was my first visit to Southern France. Location - VENCE - is very good to feel calm Provence local. Just 20min from Nice airport and easy access to St.Paul de Vence. Also, the hotel owners were so friendly making the stay comfortable and easy. The breakfast at 12EURO was must to have - peaceful morning at terrace beside of swimming pool - with good selection of breads and foods. I definately stay here again for next trip.

Superb family hotel!
The hotel is really nice with a beautiful garden that actually look as great as in the pictures. This is a family run hotel and the owners are doing their best to make you feel at home and looked after. Don't miss the breakfast, superb with fresh bread, croissants, juice, eggs etc. The pool is small but very neat and clean. Beatiful rooms too. Really recommend this place. We didn't have a car but that can be a good a idea since it's quite hard to get around with buses.

また、ゆっくり滞在したい！
ヴァンスらしい雰囲気を楽しめるホテルです。フロントにいらした女性（たぶんオーナーさん？）が、とても気さくに昼食場所、ワインショップ等を親切にアドバイスしてくれました。インテリアは南仏風カントリースタイルで、写真で見るよりも大人っぽく感じました。庭にあるプールまわりなども、こじんまりしてとても素敵！ 今回は一泊でしたが、次回はゆっくり滞在したいです。

Nettes kleines Stadthotel
Wir habe hier drei Tage zu Anfang unserer Reise durch die Provence verbracht. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen in der Nähe zur Altstadt von Vence, die fußläufig gut zu erreichen ist. Gut geeignet auch für Ausflüge z.B. nach Grasse aber auch nach Nizza mit dem Bus. Sehr freundliches und angenehm familiär geführtes kleines Hotel mit individuellen, liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern, kleinem Garten und kleinem Pool zu Entspannung. Frühstück hatten wir nicht, kann aber je nach Bedarf zu gebucht (12€) werden. Sah auch gut aus.

Hotel de Charme is just as Charming as it Sounds
The hotel was charming just as the name suggests. The entire staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting delicious restaurants in the neighborhood, helping up get our vehicle in and out of the driveway, and getting us anything we needed from the bar. They always had service with a smile. The only things that were off a bit were the ants in the room (doesn't bother me much as I have lived in climates where that happens but other might be put out), the water in the shower was a bit touchy to get the correct setting from scalding hot or freezer cold (but with a little patience and playing with the handles I was able to have a nice warm shower), and the comfort of the bed (it may just be time for a new mattress). Otherwise, the pool, the bar/breakfast area (we didn't eat breakfast there so I can't review that), and the free enclosed parking are all wonderful as well. It is just a short walk into the old village and a perfect launching pad to explore the surrounding areas. We adored Charme and wish we had more time there.

Schön gelegenes Hotel in Vence. Am Besten war das frühstücken im Garten. Alle sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber. Ich finde nur den Preis für dieses Hotel in dieser Lage zu teuer.

The room and bathroom contained everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Gregory and Emanuelle were wonderful hosts and always on hand for any service or help. They have made the hotel a lovely, special place to stay. Great breakfast; great parking; beautifully furnished rooms full of character.we will certainly stay here again when next in Vence.

Very charming hotel!
This was my best not ordinary hotel stay. Very charming small and cozy, yet very clean, comfy, quite, with scienery views and wonderful service. This hotel will easy outbid any so called "5 star" resorts in popular south destinations. The only request i would like to make is to have softer pillows.

Lives up to it's name
From the moment we arrived, our hosts Emanunelle and Gregory enveloped us with friendliness and helpfulness. The picturesque setting provided a backdrop for a comfortable and reasonable 3 day stay. We savored the delicious breakfast and appreciated the charming decor.

Accueil souriant, attentionné et convivial de la part des hôtes. Belle chambre, confortable, bien équipée (grande baignoire "vintage), ambiance maison de famille. Joli jardin, petite terrasse privative. Idéalement placé à quelques minutes à pied du centre ville et du centre historique.
