I enjoyed my stay here. The location is good and central. Literally 20minutes from “everywhere”.
The room was spacious and clean. I liked how it gave a homely feel with the kitchen and dining area.
The city view, oh my goodness!
It’s good value for money. I’d stay here again when next I visit.

Paid my money for the Court Square Hotel in NY. They say I never showed up, but i did. They overbooked the hotel and refuse to give me back my money. They never sent me a code to get in. I rang every button and people kept saying you need a code. I'm furious it's been a month.

The stay was nice. The property is very clean. Make sure that you get your access code via your email before you arrive so you can enter the property. You will use this code for entry to the hotel, the elevator and your room. The email will consist of your room number and access code. If for any reason you forget to get your access code before you arrive at the property you can call a number that starts with (315)that will connect you to one of their off-site managers who will assist you. This number can be found in your Expedia confirmation page.

I would give it 5 stars but the heating and cooling system was difficult to understand. Also when we had walked in, it smelt like a window hasn’t been opened there in a month the room smelt a bit rotten. Thank God we had air freshener and Lysol, thanks to my ocd. But other than that it was pleasing to what we needed it for.

There's no staff/check in desk. Room wasnt turned over, took forever to get through to someone. Had to shower and dry myself with a hand towel cause of timing. Cleaning crew did get me towels after, I tipped them, then got my sheets changed. Was called twice that evening asking if they could change my room and I said I already unpacked and to not touch my belongings. Came back after midnight, my keycode no longer worked. Had a hassle with customer service figuring out where my things were and how to get into my room. Luckily was with a friend who let me stay at their place. They wouldn't put notes in the file for processing a refund. Called me the next day and said they'd take care of it yet then I get a message saying it was too late for a refund and I had to call Expedia to take care of it and that took nearly an hour cause they needed the hotel to grant a waiver to do so...horrible communication/care/respect

Great location… had to go to NYU Langone in Manhattan … had issues with elevators (1 was not available) … had 1 comforter - should have had another one … no toaster or oven … no steak knives …

I enjoyed my stay and will be booking again within a week! It was quiet and peaceful.
If you’re looking for groceries there is a Trader Joe’s near right across the street. But I would not recommend going to the deli that’s around the corner because they will schem your lightning, lightning lightning lightning

Overall, the stay was comfortable and the place was clean and quiet. The location was convenient, and check-in was easy. However, a few basic items were missing, such as toilet paper and a sponge for cleaning, which made the stay a bit inconvenient. With better attention to these small essentials, the experience would be much improved nice place like that

I'll split my review into two parts - the property itself, and the service and check in process.
It is a former Sonder property (Sonder infamously went bust in Nov 2025). I've stayed at Sonder before, always enjoyed it, and this one is among the top end of my stays. The entire apartment is spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, and spare towels that should last for a long term stay. It is good to see that such a nice property is being made available again for short term stays.
On the other hand, the new management company (Bellevue District 6, seems to be part of OYO) needs to put more emphasis on providing a smooth guest experience. I had problems with check in (two different room numbers and two different codes provided, one via phone, the other via Expedia message), neither of which worked. Having called again, I was told that one of the codes is correct but to a third room. All good from there until the third day when the code stopped working and I again had to call and wait for a callback to fix the code. I saw other people also trying their codes on seemingly wrong rooms, or on the phone in the lobby to get access codes sorted.
It's a great property, but since there is no front desk, the online communication with guests and providing timely and correct check in instructions should be the highest priority. Sadly there's quite some way to go for the new management to get it properly working. Hopefully it's just initial growing pains.
