North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms feature plush beds with soft, luxe linens for restful nights. Room-darkening shades and central air conditioning ensure a comfortable sleep, while ample clothing storage—including a walk-in closet—keeps your belongings organized. Two full bathrooms are stocked with essentials, including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer.

Kitchen & dining
The chef’s kitchen is equipped with stainless appliances, a Frigidaire refrigerator, GE electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all the cooking basics you need. Enjoy your morning coffee from the drip coffee maker or prepare a meal to share at the dining table. Dishes, silverware, baking sheets, and a toaster are provided for your convenience.

Outdoor living
Step onto the balcony or unwind in the fully fenced backyard, where a private above-ground pool awaits. Pool toys are available for added fun, and the pool is open year-round. The patio offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the fresh air, and free street parking makes coming and going easy.

Entertainment & amenities
Stay connected with fast internet and enjoy your favorite shows on the Smart TV with access to Netflix, Hulu, and Prime. A dedicated workspace is available for remote work. In-unit washer and dryer, ironing essentials, and cleaning products make longer stays comfortable. Families traveling with little ones can request a pack ’n play or high chair, and babysitter recommendations are available.

Located just steps from the Canal Streetcar, you’ll have easy access to the French Quarter, Superdome, Bourbon Street, and City Park. Trader Joe’s is nearby for groceries, and the Endymion parade route passes right outside during Mardi Gras. Walk to local cafés, po’boy shops, and the Lafitte Greenway for biking or strolling.
