★ Plenty of space for our group, everyone felt comfortable and relaxed.
Treme has a rhythm all its own - brass bands drifting through the air, second lines winding down oak-lined streets, and a neighborhood energy that feels lived-in and alive. This historic three-bedroom home sits right at the heart of it, offering a grounded, art-filled base from which to take it all in.
Living space
Inside, natural light moves through rooms hung with local artwork, giving the home a warm, personal character. The living area centers around a Smart TV - just log into your own streaming accounts - and connects easily to fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace in a common area, so staying connected is never a problem. Central air conditioning and central heating keep things comfortable whatever the weather, and a ceiling fan adds to the ease of warm New Orleans evenings.
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests across five beds. Two rooms are fitted with queen beds, while the third holds a double bed and two singles - a flexible setup well-suited to families or mixed groups. Bed linens, room-darkening shades, and clothes storage in each room take care of the basics, and two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and fresh towels. A bathtub, hair dryer, and hot water round out the bathroom essentials.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking: a Frigidaire refrigerator, Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, Frigidaire stainless steel single oven, dishwasher, microwave, and drip coffee maker cover the essentials. Cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet are all provided. Pull up a chair at the dining table for six, or carry your morning coffee out to the patio - both work equally well here.
Outdoor spaces
A front porch with rocking chairs faces the street, ideal for watching the neighborhood go by with a drink in hand. Out back, a fully fenced private patio and backyard give you a quieter space to decompress after a day in the city. Free street parking and a private entrance make arrivals and departures simple.
Laundry & extras
An in-unit washer and dryer are available at no extra charge - useful for longer stays or festival weekends that inevitably get a little muddy. Iron, hangers, and clothing storage are also on hand. For families traveling with young children, a pack 'n play/travel crib and folding high chair are both available upon request, and babysitter recommendations can be provided. The home also includes a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and exterior security cameras.
Location
Treme puts you within easy reach of everything that draws people to New Orleans. Willie Mae's Scotch House is just steps away, and the French Quarter is an easy walk. The Fair Grounds - home to Jazz Fest - are close by, and the home's position makes it a natural fit for Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve, the Sugar Bowl, and the city's broader festival calendar. Breakfast is provided to start your mornings right.
