Vintage hardwood floors, crisp white interiors, and large-scale artwork create an elegant, glamorous city space. One block from Magazine Street on the corner of Constance and Pleasant Street. Welcome Home.

The Neighborhood:
Welcome to the Irish Channel, an ideal location in the heart of Uptown New Orleans, steps away from Magazine Street and just about everything the city has to offer.

Getting Around:
1 block from Magazine Street bus route. Central über / Lyft / taxi pickup location. Just a few blocks away from Saint Charles Avenue streetcar.

Other Things to Note:

Fantastic location away from the overcrowded tourist areas yet still in a lively neighborhood with exceptionally close restaurants, coffee shops and a market. We loved being able to pop out the door and within a few minute walk, have a variety of places to eat or relax and have a coffee. The home was absolutely beautiful, with beds that were luxurious, making sleeping sublime. Ian, was more like a cousin than a typical host, insuring that we had no issues and providing lots of very helpful tips to make our stay relaxing and stress-free. Only wish he had many more homes to rent through out the world for us to rent, lol!

Ian was extremely easy to deal with and always available. The unit was clean and neat. The location was great for all the restaurants I love on Magazine street. My favorite thing was the gated parking. This is not the norm in New Orleans and certainly beats street parking. The easy to use alarm system gave one comfort at night.I highly recommend for a nice visit to New Orleans.

Great location! Great house! Very safe area. House is very clean, beautiful, beds are comfortable, space to spread out or hang together. Ian checked in via text to see if we needed anything. Excellent host. The off street parking was a bonus. We didn’t do any cooking, so can’t speak to cookware. We had one of our best dinners at Atchafalaya, just around the block. Be sure you book a table at least a week in advance. Magazine street (shops, restaurants, bars…) is one block over. We went to The District Cafe for cappuccino, fresh donuts, and egg sandwiches every morning. We were able to walk to the French Quarter, WW2 museum, cemeteries and to Jackson Square, where we could hang out and listen to some of the best jazz we heard during our visit. After a busy day, this quiet home was the perfect place to come back to.

Everything about this place is perfect. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but a block and a half from Magazine Street and walkable to great restaurants (Atchafayala!). The place is lovely, with comfy beds, a big beautiful bathtub and shower, a GREAT swing chair, and the kinds of added touches that boost it to five stars--thank you for the bar soap! thank you for the water in the fridge! Ian is incredibly fast in getting back to you, and very helpful, a perfect host. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house is gorgeous. The parking space fits a Ford Expedition without problems. The location is incredible. We came to move our son into college. It is within a block of Magazine Street. The restaurants within walking distance were excellent. The owner is super accommodating and highly responsive. The experience was top-notch.

The house was tastefully decorated and very comfortable.The neighborhood is quiet and walking distance to almost anything you would need. The bedding was first class and the bathrooms were excellent.The kitchen cabinets were very unorganized but had most things needed.The ice maker didn’t work.We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful house and great location

The pictures of the house do not do it justice. It is so beautiful, and it was very clean and comfortable. We stayed there during the fourth of July holiday. The host was responsive and friendly. The only issue was the streets, but I think that is typical New Orleans and it did not take away from the enjoyment of the weekend. I liked that it is within walking distance to a nice grocery store, shops and the trolley. I would love to stay here again on a future visit!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ian’s beautiful property on Magazine Street! From the moment we booked, Ian was the most responsive and thoughtful host—checking in on our arrival time, setting the thermostat to our preferred temperature before we even got there, and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location itself couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Magazine Street, with amazing restaurants, shops, and all the charm New Orleans has to offer right outside your door.The house was exactly as described and even more comfortable and inviting than we imagined. Ian’s warm hospitality truly made it feel like a home away from home. We also left a couple of items behind, and Ian went above and beyond to ship them back to us—such a kind and thoughtful gesture!If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. Great Stay

Spectacular property and location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Secure off street parking was certainly a plus, and we mostly walked anyway. Very comfortable accommodations for 3 adults and 1 child. Laundry and well stocked kitchen were important when traveling with a five year old. Communication with property owner was smooth and he was super responsive. We will stay again on our next NOLA visit.

Location and Comfort in NOLA!

This house is amazing and the host is full of great local recommendations. This location is amazing - walkable to Magazine street in both directions, the trolly to the French Quarter is blocks away and its quiet, clean, and so comfy. Loved everything about the home.

Wonderful house, location and host

We had an amazing time. The host was in constant contact with us, from helping us with random traffic issues to being available to ship things in advance. If you want to stay in the garden district with access to Magazine, St. Charles, Audubon park and zoo... nothing could be better. Book and enjoy!!!

Most amazing quaint cottage off the bustling magazine street. Felt like you were part of the neighborhood. House was beautiful and clean. Lovely beds and quality linens. Ian was a very gracious host. Will be back next time!

We loved this property so very much. Great location, off Magazine Street, near great restaurants, bars and shops.Such a fun area! House was very clean and comfortable and decorated beautiful. Manager was easy to reach and very helpful! We had two couples and were very comfortable.

Great home, great area

This is a great home in a wonderful area. Beds are very comfortable. It’s a whole different New Orleans experience to be one block off Magazine St - one we much prefer. So many restaurants, bars, shops, grocery, bakeries, coffee shops, etc that you can walk to and just wander around. We absolutely loved it. Ian is a great host.

NOLA Stay - Garden District

The property is very close to Magazine Street which provides easy access to the Garden District and the bus line if the group wants to visit Canal Street. The furnishings are high-end, and the off-street parking is truly an asset. The host was very communicative and attentive throughout the process. My family and I would not hesitate to book this property again. Great for families of all ages!

Irish Channel gem

This is a beautiful house in a great neighborhood. We easily walked to excellent restaurants, shopped and had cocktails. There was a drug store and grocery just a couple of blocks away—easy walk. Gated parking on site. We had everything we needed for a lovely weekend.
