The Bywater neighbourhood is known for colourful street murals, outdoor cafés, lively dive bars, and hip restaurants. Local boutiques, art galleries, and music venues define the area’s creative vibe, while Crescent Park offers scenic riverfront trails and city views. The nearby St. Claude Arts District adds to the neighbourhood’s vibrant cultural scene.
You’ll have full, private access to:
• Entire 2BR/2BA first-floor condo
• Living room, kitchen & dining space
• Private outdoor patio
• In-unit laundry
• Free on-street parking
• Keyless self check-in
The Bywater has a rhythm all its own - brass notes drifting through the air, neighbors on stoops, and streets lined with painted Creole cottages. This two-bedroom shotgun drops you right into it, a short stroll from Crescent Park's riverfront trails, neighborhood coffee shops, and art studios, with the French Quarter less than two miles away.
The space
Natural light moves through the shotgun layout all day, giving the home a warmth that feels distinctly New Orleans. The living room anchors the common space - sink into the sofa after a day out, put on a show via the Smart TV with streaming, or pull out a board game for the group. The built-in bar area is the room's signature feature, stocked and ready for you to mix a Sazerac or a Pimm's Cup without leaving home.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is set up for real cooking. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker, along with cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, a toaster, hot water kettle, and a baking sheet. A dining table gives you a proper spot to eat in rather than balancing plates on your lap.
Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms, each paired with its own full bathroom, give every guest a private setup. Bed linens, hangers, and clothing storage are provided, so you can settle in and actually unpack rather than living out of a suitcase.
Bathrooms
Both bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hair dryer. Hot water and cleaning products are all in place.
Outdoor living
The private backyard patio is furnished and ready - morning coffee, evening wind-down, or just a quiet moment away from the city's energy. It's a rare thing in a neighborhood like Bywater, and it's yours for the stay.
Practical extras
In-unit washer and dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and heating keep things comfortable year-round. A dedicated workspace, iron, smart lock entry, and free on-street parking cover the practical side. Essentials including towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper are provided, and a pack 'n play travel crib is available if you're traveling with a little one.
The neighborhood
Bywater sits just downriver from the French Quarter, and it's a neighborhood that rewards slow exploration - independent cafés, local restaurants, gallery spaces, and Crescent Park's walking paths along the Mississippi. Everything that makes New Orleans worth visiting is within easy reach, without the noise of the tourist center outside your window.
• French Quarter: 2.2 miles | ~10 minutes drive | ~46 minutes walk
