"All was great except the night desk man. He was rude, sarcastic, and wanted to argue about a shower chair. Instead of offering to help with my request, he just made excuses. Of course this was not the way an attendant should treat a guest. There are many other hotel choices and I will definitely consider others because of his sarcasm and rudeness."

"What I did NOT like. During check-in, I happened to overhear the receptionist explaining government rates and ID requirements to the guest ahead of me. As a government civilian employee, I asked—mostly out of curiosity—whether any such rates or considerations might apply in my case, while also noting that I had booked through Expedia and understood if they did not. The response I received left me somewhat uncomfortable. I was told there has been abuse of government ID usage and that stricter...

"Breakfast was good. Did not have time to trythe pool or gym"

"Room was very clean! Beds and linens were great. Grounds were not taken care of. We stayed there because of the pictures of the tennis courts, shuffle board and putting green. None of that is operational or there any more for at least 10+ years. Great location where you can walk to Kings dominion. But trash everywhere outside and run down. Dog poop, dirty diapers, broken glass and trash."

"I wouldn’t eat this breakfast - it’s all processed. Disappointing. A free breakfast should have a variety…this is not a healthy breakfast. Nothing fresh or good. I like the room and area and that a maid brought me new sheets and pillowcases etc but she just handed them to me. She should have come into the room and made the bed herself since that’s her job."
