JUST AVOID!!!
The property was fine, clean but nothing special. It is NOT a hotel, despite being advertised on Expedia as such. Scammy. I would choose to stay elsewhere, as you pay as much as a hotel and the neighbourhood is not good. It’s equivalent to Vancouver’s East Hastings, just Napoli version. Dodgy AF. The building is NOT secure, the front door is constantly left ajar.
Check in was nightmare and gave me zero confidence in the management company, Domus Extra. I felt straight-up unsafe. I would avoid any properties managed by this company at all costs, they are unreliable, disorganized and god help anyone who might actually run into an urgent issue.
Despite being in touch with management the day before, advising exactly of my arrival time, the next day they were totally AWOL. From the airport to the lobby of the building, I repeatedly attempted to contact management via both Expedia and WhatsApp, and ultimately by phone, to advise we were enroute/had arrived.
I arrived at 1405h, check-in time is 1400h. Paola, a manager, repeatedly disabled her WhatsApp, leaving is with no way to contact anyone. When I finally contacted her directly by phone, she tried to play dumb/give excuses, and then tried to tell us we had been dealing with Giovanni via Expedia and should talk to him. Like who the hell is Giovanni, he never identified himself to us, never gave us contact info. Some poor student named Alex arrived at 1510. The keys to the door didn’t even work! Just ridiculous.
