"We stayed here on a weekend mini vacation because my son had a college volleyball game nearby. The home was pristine and very cozy. Close to so many restaurants and rich in history. We loved the original hard wood flooring and overall atmosphere. 10 out of 10 recommend! Although we stayed in the winter so walking wasnt our choice of transportation we had a couple issues with parking, primarily bec we arent used to city lifestyle, that was the only difficulty that occured."

"Great hotel. Nice big room, cleanliness was very good and the housekeeping also seemed to do a good job. Gym was nicely equipped and clean. Breakfast was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The ability to order an omelette was a great plus.

"It's just north of a rough neighborhood, but it's actually really nice. The staff were delightful. It's clean and well-kept. Breakfast was boring but sufficient. Not too close to the city, but also not too far. Like 30-50 min depending on traffic. "

"After having to abruptly leave a disappointing stay at another hotel nearby, The Drake in Oakbrook was exactly the breath of fresh air we needed. From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly.
