I am of the understanding that on your departure day, breakfast was set as a buffet due to the large numbers we were holding. Dear Sir,As a valued customer, thank you for reviewing Best Western Claydon, on behalf of our hotel, please accept our sincere apologies, with regards to your complaint we would have preferred you brought this to our attention more directly rather than such a platform where bad reviews are weighted much heavier then positive ones. We are of course sorry to hear the issues mentioned had a negative effect on your experience, having reviewed your complaint we have since with drawn the parking charge and found the other issues mentioned debatable. The extractor fan from the kitchen is turned off by 10.30pm, choking fumes from extracted cooking waste certainly isn't something we are aware of nor had problems with in the past, having discussed the circumstances of this happening we are confident such a scenario could not happen and therefore hope this doesn't deter others from trying us.We are encouraged when we receive positive feedback from our guests, however on this occasion a little disappointed, had we have been informed you were unhappy with this room we would have offered you a change of room, or an upgrade, we tried in vain to speak with you on one occasion ending unsuccessfully. We value your time and apologise if you were unaware of our charges, our policy is to notify all customers of payments via email such as parking as a matter of courtesy, we are sorry if this did not happen. The fact our kitchen is closed on Sunday’s only offering light snacks as a condition of Best Western, Due to our green credentials and the extreme cost of energy, our rooms are not pre-heated, however the heating unit in the room is more than sufficient to manage all temperature conditions. The wall mounted unit in the bathroom is satisfactory for heating small areas. I am sorry if we did not exceed all your expectations on this occasion.
