"This is a fantastic property, restored beautifully with many fine details. We had a premier room, which was amazing —large and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the cafe, drinks in the bar, and dinner at El Quijote, all of which were great. The staff everywhere is extremely friendly.
However, there were a couple of hiccups: there was a lot of almost constant noise right outside our room window from a ventilation pipe. Additionally, we only received turn-down service one...
"Beautiful hotel with great views of the city. Wonderful staff. Zou Zous restaurant in the hotel is really good. We stayed in the deluxe king and there was ample drawer space to unpack. There are 2 Starbucks steps from the hotel and many outdoor seating areas around the hotel. The 7 train is 1 short block away, and Hudson Yards is across the street. We loved it!"

"We stayed at the Standard Highline for a week from Friday to Saturday. The hotel is centrally located with great shopping, food and beverage offering right outside. However it comes with some drawbacks.
At check-in we were given a room on the 4th floor supposedly far away from the noise from the standards own night club on the top floor however it turned out to be right above the neighbouring Brass Monkey and the music on their rooftop terrace was so loud that we could sing along to the songs...

"Vi blev rigtig glade for Hotel Giraffe, og vi glæder os til at vende tilbage. Personalet var søde og yderst hjælpsomme. Vi kunne godt lide indretningen og stilen på værelset. "Even hotel på 35th ligger perfekt til et familieophold i New York. Personalet er hjælpsomme og utroligt servicemindede. Værelset var meget rent, og hotellet er velholdt.

"Havde ved reservation og check-in bedt om en ekstra opredning. Da vi kom til hotellet var værelse ikke klar, da vi kom tilbage kl 22.30 var den ekstra opredning ikke klar... vi måtte vente 30 minutter og 3 opringninger til receptionen for vi kunne komme i seng.
Restaurant: 2 forvirrede tjenere kunne ikke finde et bord i en halv tom restaurant. Efter 8-10 min venten gav vi op...."

"Disappointing stay. Very long wait at reception, the main floor was under construction with no lobby or common areas. Rooms were tiny with small beds, no fridge, and unclean blankets."

Saturday morning we asked to be moved to another room and they gave us a room on the 7th floor still facing the Brass monkey but further away. Saturday night Brass Monkey was slightly better but still very loud and once the brass monkey music stopped at 2 am we could hear and feel the pounding of the drum and base from the Standards own penthouse club until 4am. :-(
Sunday there was still music but the stopped early because of the rain. Monday to Wednesday it was great with no music and thursday and Friday night it was again loud music.
So if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. The Staff were very friendly and tried to help us however it is a bit of a Las Vegas experience.

"Hotel has a great location just 1 min from TS. Quiet in the evenings. But room was so cold as the windows did not have isolation. Breakfast was a joke. To sit you need to pay 6,5$ plus tax plus tip. Even though breakfast was incl. best choose was Carve breakfast to go. Staff not very informative. Storage of luggage 1$ per item same day pick up.
Room was nice and clean every day and bed was nice. "
