"All was great. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Great location, with Nishiki Market, countless restaurants, and grocery nearby. The only minor complaint I have is the slowness of filling the hot tub on the first day. On subsequent days it got better, however. The staff was very responsive through email.

"This stay was absolutely wonderful, and the host was extremely attentive and understanding. The entire house is very well kept, and everything is in great condition. The bedroom and linens were very comfortable, and the large window in the room let's you wake up to a nice natural light (or block it out entirely if that's your thing).
We arrived a bit later than expected, and that wasn't an issue. We were given a full tour of the house and amenities along with instructions on how everything...
"We had a very good time at the hotel. A lot better than we expected. All the employees were good english speakers and gave us traveling tips and good japanese phrases to use with the locals. The restaurant areas and market/shops are in short walking distance.

The accommodation is so spacious, well equipped, clean and has a wonderful feel with an amazing wooden bath. Special thanks to Yui who works the front desk and the Cafe. "Our stay in Kyoto at the Resi Stay was wonderful. We were able to send some of our luggage ahead, and it was waiting for us at the check-in counter across the street from the train station, which is where you check in. We stayed in 1F and it was huge and very quiet, and it had laundry. We loved exploring Kyoto from this location, as it's so close to a very cute part. We only wish we made a better plan for seeing the rest of Kyoto. It's big and spread out. "
