"Wonderful attention to details in the room. Spacious luxury in our corner room overlooking the river. Two layers of double-pane glass dampen the road noise to an acceptable level for us and was outweighed by the convenience of the location, so much within walking distance. Staff were eagerly helpful. "This is our second time staying at this place and we just love how it’s in the center of Gion district surrounded with the best food spots. We also love how close it is to shopping, nishiki market, karaoke, all the fun stuff!! The space itself is huge and the onsen is just the cherry on top after a LOOONG day of walking/exploring. It’s < 20 mins away from Kyoto station as well."

"The staff, service and food were exceptional. The location was perfect for what we wanted out of a four night stay in Kyoto. But, it was the staff that made the experience memorable. Some of the key spots are just around the corner from the hotel. Given the crowds during the day, it was easy to see them early in the morning or after dinner when the crowds were much smaller. If you are looking for the perfect atmosphere from a traditional small Japanese Ryoken then look no further!"
