Hof is not a city worth visiting. But the sites around it is great. Helpful staff, good food at the restaurant. The sea food soup was good in particular

Lækkert design og smukke omgivelser
Flot hotel indrettet med lækkert design. Værelset var pænt, godt indrettet i nordisk stil. Gode senge og roligt roligt område. Dejligt sted at opholde sig. Restauranten var rigtig god, vi fik en meget velsmagende og spændende ret med torsk.

Dejligt hotel med helt unik udsigt
Et skønt hotel med lækre faciliteter. Værelset var helt perfekt indrettet med højt til loftet og et kæmpe vindue med tilhørende vinduesbænk, hvorfra vi kunne nyde udsigten til den smukke islandske natur. Vi spiste også i restauranten et par gange og det kan helt klart anbefales. Hotellet ligger perfekt placeret mellem Jökulsárlón og Skaftafell - også til hvis du en af dagene skal helt ud forbi Höfn.

Very nice property but sooo noisy and so inconvenient to anything! The parade of slamming doors from the hallway kept us up every night. The room was stuffy and hot and we couldn’t get it to cool down even with the window open. Stiff mattress and sheets. Restaurant was terrible. I really wanted to like this place but it is not worth the money. Amenities are lacking- no coffee in the rooms! So far from town and food options it is not a good location, I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 1 night.

Excellent hotel - clean, modern and efficient. Very isolated, while that’s not bad there was no access to activities at property (had to drive to do any hiking, sightseeing, etc.). Would be nice to have at least a hike from the property. Will stay here again!

10/10 would stay again, mainly for the views. The hotel has everything you need from a buffet breakfast, outdoor hot tub, ocean views, and an amazing dinner spread. Everything was wonderful!! (And I personally appreciate gluten free bread options with meals)

This was a beautiful stay and the service was second to none. They offered room calls for the Aurora Borealis and they had dining options on site. They also had shoe drying racks (for a fee). The only draw back was that it was more expensive than the other hotels we booked. However, the food was the best we have had in Iceland thus far so it was worth it. Spa amenities were also very lovely.

Awesome property! We are vegetarian unfortunately there are not many options except for Hammus. But over all I will say it is very nice hotel and highly recommended it.
