Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need.
You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine.

"This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer!
Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal.
The room had a big fan which was very nice since I always sleep with a fan on at home.

Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. "

"The shepherd huts are almost new and very well equipped, much larger than expected with quality fittings and underfloor heating. Lovely wooden worktops. The bed is a little high for some but fine for us. There are steps up, which you would expect. The outer hut areas have yet to see any grass, unlike a general area with oicnic benches that are grassed. Overall excellent value. "

"Det var meget gammelt og i forfærdelig stand. Der er enormt lydt og vi kunne høre alt i hele huset, ovenpå var så lyt at hver gang personen gik (kl 05:00 om morgenen startede det) så rystede metallampen og hele værelset.
