"Monkey Lala is a great place to stay if you want beachfront property in El Tunco. The rooms are well taken care of and the patio space is abundant. The only thing I would say is make sure you bring some earplugs or noise cancelling headphones as it gets quite loud on fridays and Saturdays with the discotec right next to the property. If you can get past that small thing, its totally worth the stay. Wonderful. "

"The staff was very kind and accommodative. I arrived a day earlier and they were willing to reschedule my cabin at no extra charge. Make sure to program gps while at San Ignacio, data is flaky in the mountains. Also lear how to descend in compression or 4WL to avoid break overheating, other than, fantastic and beautiful adventure, highly recommend. Thanks to the staff, wiil be back"

"Very helpful and friendly staff and well functioning AC. Those are the positives. But this is not a hotel. At best it is a hostel. Things are worn down, no reception, no daily cleaning, had to ask for more toilet paper, “restaurant” open 2 x 2 hours a day, room wasn’t clean, pool looks like it should have been renovated years ago. The term “hotel” and the price led us into the assumption that this was an upscale place - we were wrong."
