The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, train station and cultural high points like Tate Gallery St. Ives. "This small house has lovely views over Looe and is a good base for exploring the area. The house though wouldn’t suit everyone. Access to the house is via a steep narrow staircase. The main bed is comfortable. The bunk though would probably only suit children. Certainly it would not suit someone who is heavy or tall. The house is quite well kitted out but anyone staying for any length of time would likely need to buy things like shampoo and soap. All we got were three small sachets for three...

"Fantastic location, plenty of parking, everything you need (home from home) However the property is tired and needs some tlc. The garden is overgrown and the hedges are unkept which obstruct the sea views. Overall I would definitely recommend the property. "

"This was our second stay at Bettys Cottage and our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was wonderful! The cottage has everything you need, it’s a quick walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.We both highly recommend this beautiful home and can’t wait to book our third stay "

"The cottage is a short walk from the various beaches and shops of St Ives, so perfect for a short break in the town. The cottage is well equip and it's amazing how everything is fitting into the place.The only negative side is the lack of parking and having to stop on a double yellow to load/unload. It took us about an hour to find a parking space when we arrived, so plan ahead!"
