Great place to stay. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Accommodations are very nice. You can also exchange money at the front desk which is a huge win if you’re tight on time and can’t go to the bank.

Amazing hotel. Felt like royalty! The spa is worth every penny. Pool is too cold to swim in but nice to hang out by. The breakfast was on the pricier end but was well worth the cost, wonderful selection or yummy food. Hospitality was too notch!

We only stayed for one night. Hotel was nice but the shower right in front of the bed was a bit unusual. We had dinner at the restaurant and thought it was good. We were offered a discount on spa treatment but were unable to take it due to the short stay. Wish they had offered something else to us instead. But we did get a room upgrade so that was nice. The front desk was extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out the best way to handle money exchange.

It’s my second stay at this hotel. Staff is great. I like the area. You can walk to Medina but it’s quieter. Food at the restaurant was disappointing ( had 1 dinner at bar and 1 at restaurant) rooms are big with lots of natural light. Decor is lovely. I would stay there again.

Having the shower and sink in the bedroom was a bit strange, but everything was extremely clean. The maid did not refill the soap container in the shower so that was a bit awkward. Breakfast buffet was beautiful, loved the coffee options. Great concierge, helpful staff.

The staff was very welcoming. The rooms are larger than their European counterparts. The pool area looked very relaxing even though we didn’t have time to use it. This property had an excellent breakfast buffet. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the Medina.

Great 3-Night Stay, Amazing Breakfast!
My wife & I had a great three night stay here at the Barcelo. Quick access by taxi or foot to most sites in Casablanca. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a huge assortment of different foods....so good! We also were able to do a traditional Hamman experience in the hotel (as a couple...which was also very unique as Americans). Mixture of both European spa and Turkish spa :) We had probably the basic room for our stay, but had a great view of the famous mosque. The room was clean and comfortable...if anything the bathroom (own unit) is a bit small. All in all we would definitely stay here again!

Great experience!
Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast has both variety and quality. This is definitely the hotel I’ll stay again if I come back to Casablanca. The only shortcoming could be no separate room for bath which might be an issue if you are sharing the room with friends not families.

Unacceptable behavior from some staff
Most of the staff were professional and very helpful Except some of them who were kind of racist to my black friend who Has been questioned multiple times when we were having breakfast, why she’s there and in which room she’s staying, which never happened to me while I’m staying and when we were checking out we remembered charger that we forgot at the room we got back there and we couldn’t find it and we got told that there was nothing there after the cleanup.
