Within few minutes walk from the beach. Clean throughout. Has fans as well as AC (it was cool during out stay and we did not have to use the AC). Ample parking space around the back. Nice well equipped kitchenette. Free and fast Wifi. I was also impressed that the washing machine was free to use (in some other parts of the world they would have a coin machine to charge for washing machine use). Unless our next stay is in the south of the island, I might reconsider booking there again.

Nous y avons séjourné 10 jours, la personne qui tient l hôtel est très à l écoute, il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour, le dernier jour nous avons pu profiter jusqu’au bout de nos vacances car le propriétaire de l hôtel nous a permis de partir plus tard de la chambre et c était vraiment pratique et appréciable. Nous l en remercions vivement. A renouveler

Hari is hands-down the most helpful and chill Host we've seen. We were on a 3rd floor and noticed a brand new wifi router outside our door, which never failed. As such, this is a great work remote option. Allamanda is set back from the main road and because it's just north of Perryebere, the street noise is minimal. A Winner's grocery nearby. Best to have a car rental to get to the better beaches Mon Choisy and Trou aux Biches. And Super U Grand Bay. The outdoor patio is cute and perfect for a table for two and bottle of red. Enjoy!

Clean and simple
The apartment block is set a little way back from the main road. There is a gate giving s degree of security into the property. Bearing in mind this is a low cost option around the £20 a night level, you are not going to get a lot. What I got is a large apartment, a balcony and a simply furnished space. The main line address has a large table and a couple of plastic chairs which double up for the balcony. Some other additional form of seating would be a great addition to the room. The small kitchen had a full size refrigerator a dual gas hob and a microwave. Which is enough to prepare a simple meal, in terms of cutlery and utensils think none and you won't be disappointed ! There is a safe in the bedroom Google how to set it up. The bed is comfortable with Aircon in there too. The balcony depending on which room you are in its nothing to write home about but pleasant enough. The area is slightly too far from Perrybee to walk at night down an input road, but taxis are always around. All in all a good low cost place to stay. I'll go 8 out of 10, a better sitting area and more kitchen utensils would have it at a10 based on bang for your buck. If I am ever in that area of Mauritius would I stay again? Yes.

Comfort & Cleanliness at a reasonable price.

Memory lane visit to Mauritius.
The picture about the beaches and the stairs to the Beau Bain beaches on the website were misleading. It appears that the hotel is a beachfront property and it was not. That is the reason I booked because from the website photos it looks that it was a beachfront property. When I reached there it was not and was disappointed. The beach was across the road. Otherwise overall the property was good, WIFI great, the owner very friendly, supportive and helpful. For a budget apartment, the prices matched them. I was a little surprised to find that soap, shampoo and other bathroom necessities were not provided. If you want to do your own cooking great property. Public transportation great. Grand Baie was not to far and hence shopping was great.

La situation géographique de l'établissement. Les tarifs sont trés abordables. Seul inconvénient ,pas d'ascenceur pour personnes avec difficulté de mobilité réduite.

Wow what more could we want
Fantastic accommodation. Excellent location to beach, shops and bus. Very clean. All kitchen utensils you need. Excellent air conditioning unit. We couldn't ask for more. All at a budget price. Excellent.

Die Unterkunft ist der absolute Albtraum. Sie entspricht in keiner Weise den Angaben auf der Website von Expedia. Die Fenster waren undicht und es waren Ameisen und Käfer im ganzen Haus verteilt. Die WC Spülung war defekt und es war überall Schimmel zu sehen. Nachdem ich den Entschluss gefasst habe in dieser Unterkunft keine Nacht zu verbringen verweigerte mir der Gastgeber mir mein Geld zu erstatten. Dementsprechend kann ich diese Unterkunft wirklich niemanden empfehlen. Auch wenn derjenige noch so geringe Ansprüche haben sollte. Auch wenn sie noch so billig sein mag - finger weg davon!

Dear Angelika, We plan to refund you through Expedia. But you insisted on a spot refund. We are a budget accommodation. Our Clientèle are travellers who seek basic comfort and are very open and generally happy with our hospitality. Unfortunately, once in a while, clients get carried away by false marketing from taxi drivers, tour operators and other disloyal competitors. Our objective is to continue improving our property and client relations.

Nice and peacful resort
The first thing i got there was to hear i had to change a room after three days. The room i changed to was completely similar to the first room. I rented a small studio with a kitchen in it. There were no TV. Which is not necessary to me. No AC but a good fan. Average fast Wi-fi. Friendly service. Very close to a pretty public beach albeit lots of small pebbles and stones in that beautiful Mauritian sand. Good bus service to other beaches and malls and some good resto's very close. A few kilometers away from Grand Baie.

personnel sympathique et appartement propre. pas de grille pain, pas de machine à laver. très bruyant ( aboiement chiens et les portes en fer qui claquent à n'importe quelle heure de la nuit) La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas.

Bonjour, Le tariff de 13 euros la nuit n'inclut pas la clim. Desole pour le bruit des portes. Effectivement on compte changer nos portes dans le futur. L' aboiement des chiens est en dehors de notre contrôle. Cordialement

Great place for the price. Good location and clean
If coming from North America, you will initially be taken aback from the place. I came around 8:00PM and the place was very dark, and the man in charge was not very helpful. Just told me, my unit is at the back. I had to drag three suitcases in the dark narrow alley and after some confusions, I was able to find my unit. It is on the third floor with no elevators. After the initial shock, I found the place to be airy, clean and big enough to be comfortable. I wanted a self catered place because of allergies and wanted to eat our own food. That worked very well. There was a cleaning person who came daily except for Sundays. Thanks Devika,

Près de la plage « pain Boeuf » magnifique
Appartement grand, super literie, ventilateur dans chaque chambre, très propre, simple (il ne faut pas avoir des goûts de luxes). Accès sécurisé. Bon rapport qualité prix.
