The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The pool was a good temperature and the daily activities were fun. The swim up bar was fantastic. Our room was beautiful and had a nice upgrade. Our only issue was we were expecting to be able to make dinner reservations at the sister resorts and were unable to.

Me encantó hospedarme aqui, desde que nos recibieron fueron super amables, las instalaciones estan hermosas, siempre hay buen ambiente en la piscina, la comida deliciosa y variada. Lo recomiendo muchisimo. Y bueno el área de niños padrisima, mi hijo disfruto, tienen toboganes y ademas les hacen actividades de interacción. Definitivamente quede muy satisfecha y contenta con mi estancia, quiero regresar.

Please believe the awful reviews! I had to call three different managers within four hours of arriving. It was a fight to get extra towels (we checked in with 4) people and the desk said they only offer two per room. Make that make sense! If you know we have 4 people then four towels and face towels shouldn’t be a fight to get. Room service kept getting our order wrong and each time wanted to charge 5.00 per service. The food is god awful! We had to go offsite to get some decent food to survive and the drinks were awful !! I would rather stay at a MOTEL 6 before I ever come to this place again.

Best Vacation! We as a family really enjoyed our time in GR Solaris Cancun. Our room was upgraded to partial ocean view for free and it was very clean. Didn’t get a chance to dine in the restaurants this time but food variety in buffet was great and delicous. Fantastic dessert! :) Whole staff were very friendly, always ready to help, the smile on their face made us feel very welcomed . Pool side staff and barmens are amazing. Huge shout out to Leo and especially Abraham. Their energy, creativity, and enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Their friendly demeanor and ability to connect with guests of all ages enhanced the overall atmosphere of the resort, making it a vibrant and lively destination. Don’t miss 9pm shows. You will get facinated. Just pack your luggages and book your stay at GR Solaris Cancun. We will definitely come back! Thank you for making our vacation so special!

I didnt like how few the food selection was considering its a buffet. There is no wide variety of food choices. The snack area is not open for longer hours and thats sad. The bar drinks also didnt taste good. The staff who seated us at the buffet were also not good some of them did not speak English so hard to communicate. What I only liked is how the waiters were friendly and they really try to make your dining experience ok.

We have been to this resort eight times now and it seems year-by-year it’s been going downhill. As far as the food goes the Lunch was basically burgers or pizza, the ocean restaurant which used to be open for lunch everyday was never open for lunch. When we first started also the deli used to make the sandwiches fresh as you picked what sandwich you want it off to sandwich board now it seems like they’re made at noon and put out on display so if you get a sandwich at 6o’clock it’s already been sitting there for six ours getting hard and stale. Plus it used to be open later. Another problem we had which we brought up with the front desk twice was three days in a row our room refrigerator was not restocked. We are not real big foodies but the dinners at the buffet were average at best. We were there for a week and we did not see Mr. or Mrs. Solaris or the newlywed game which used to be fun games. We come here every year with two other couples and this is the first year at the end of our trip we were actually sitting around talking about whether or not we would come back again. I would like to say one final thing about the girl in the lobby, Jessica. She gets five stars. She helped us organize transportation to and from another resort to visit family members.

The properties beach access is perfect! Activities everywhere, just sign up or hang out and they will come to you:) Beautiful grounds, pool, buildings. The all inclusive was amazing- so many bars, always somewhere to get a drink or food. The food was fantastic too. Authentic and tasty. The staff was really nice, it helps everyone to know a little Spanish. You can get more with just a little conversation.

Buffet food was excellent, only tried one other restaurant that required a reservation and it was ok food, and they ran out of a menu item 3 of our party had ordered. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean, staff were constantly circulating and cleaning up drink cups and tables. Room was in good condition, room service was timely and good. Ocean view was amazing! Biggest caveat (didn’t end up being an issue for our party) was pieces of other room balconies were crumbling off and falling on other balconies.

I enjoyed my stay at GR Solaris. The staff is super friendly and they do a great job of keeping the resort clean. We had an issue with our shower drain and they came within an hour and fixed it. Food was decent but not great. Hard to get a seat at the main pool. Had to wake up extra early to get a spot on the weekend. Overall it was great and I would stay there again.

The property was beautiful inside and outside. It was clean and smelled nice. The staff were friendly. I gave it a three star because the food was not good at the restaurants we were able to get in to. We never got a chance to make reservations at Marco Polo or Zai because there was never availability even when we tried to reserve a day in advance. The food we ordered from room service was cold and we didn’t have a microwave to even heat eat it.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at GR Solaris, however, there are some improvements to be made such as; enforcing the no smoking policy in the hot tub and also enforcing the abundant level of noise that penetrates the rooms coming from the hallway at all hours of the night.

All of the staff was absolutely amazing, but especially Darvin, Christian, Rubin, Yzrael and Nina! We’re already planning another trip to GR Solaris next year!

My wife sprained her ankle while we went on a tour and couldnt walk but the assistance provided within the hotel was disappointing. With the hotel's size and number of guests, they only have 2 wheelchairs in a dilapidated state. Staff were not very accommodating and we had to argue to let us borrow for a few hours without paying rental. Our tour reservation got messed up and we ended up waiting the whole day. Tours were disappointing.

Let me clarify about the use of wheelchairs, we have assistance equipment for all our guests when required, for that same reason we do not have the service of loaning assistance items. However, transfer service is provided in areas, while renting one is requested. We are very sorry that this has caused you dissatisfaction, but information is always provided with our concierges to be able to purchase any service that the guest requires. Regarding the tours, unfortunately you did not purchase any services with the hotel agency so we do not have control of the schedules of external agencies.Once again we thank you for choosing GR Solaris, we hope to be able to include them in your travel options in the future.Greetings.
