"Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). Would stay again 😁"

Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. "We (my two adult daughters and myself) just came back from a 12 night stay in the UK. We went to 9 hotels, and this was our favorite! It was so quiet and peaceful there with no outside noise. The setting was beautiful with lots of outside dining spaces. The rooms were nice and the staff was super sweet. Breakfast was amazing with large, cook to order options. We would definitely come back and stay again!"

"The Tollgate Inn was absolutely amazing! We hoped to stay at a traditional English Pub, and we got blown away 🤗
We stayed in the Cottage across the parking lot. A beautiful place with kitchen, parents bedroom, bathroom upstairs and a small yard with table and chairs.
The food at the Inn was great. The atmosphere as well.
We can only recommend a stay at this fantastic place.

"Oldfield House er lige stedet for en romantisk ferie, men også som enlig rejsende er det et dejligt og hyggeligt sted med lækker morgenmad og smilende og venlig betjening. Mit eneværlse var ikke stort , men hyggeligt og funktionelt. Ca. 20 min. Gang ned til centrum af Bathj, som er en meget charmerende by, beliggende i naturskønne omgivelser. Vender gerne tilbage igen."
