We were checked in by a lovely young man who also served us our food, he was very attentive and even brought us extra sides for our burgers. "All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. "Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. "

"A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "
