Hostels i Zaandam

"The staff was for the most part nice. Otherwise the room was very small. The toilet did not have a working soap dispenser. I had to use the shower to wash hands. The room was also very small. Which made it difficult when getting ready in the morning and having room for luggage. The best part was the location, which was near the Central station through one stop with the ferry. There is a lift in the hostel, but still some stairs in the main entrance, in which you have to carry your bag."

"The rooms are very tiny for 6 people. Had a bed in female only dorm. Either tap in toilet was not working or the door could not be locked. The receptionist came into the female only room late at night to show a new girl her bed without knocking on the door. "

"We booked for 2 people and ended up in one bunk - probably our fault, but it wasn't clear on the website. There was only one outlet which was a bit of a struggle. The room was clean :) The bathrooms were fine, but multiple of them were missing soap for almost the entirety of our stay (5 nights). Location was great! Right up against a nice park + the museum district, with easy access to public transportation. "

"Was ok "

"This place was great. Locationwise too. My only issues were first of all the amount of dust in my bed. I know this is common with bunk beds, but this was a little unbearable I must admit. I also didn't realize there were breakfast slips the first morning. I thought the "normal" breakfast was it. I only got to try it once out of 3 mornings, but it was just jelly-like scrambled eggs and a small pastry. But other than that I think this place is amazing. It's comfortable and welcoming."

"HOTELS.COM doesn’t respond or help!! I would like to submit a complaint concerning my stay at “The Veteran” First of all, the location of the hotel made it impossible to sleep at night. Right underneath our room there were several coffeeshops and bars with banging loud music playing the whole night. Even the closed windows and curtains did not help. The hotel did not mention it in any way whatsoever in their description. If we knew that information beforehand — we would not stay there. I can...

"Excellent location . Near to the train station, sightseeing, red light, so many shops"
