"This was a surprise stop for us, and we were super grateful for it. The hotel had comfortable beds, great food, excellent staffing, and just a really amazing bar (please try the French 75!).
Our room was a cold, and they brought us extra blankets and a space heater immediately. Very responsive and attentive to guest needs.
Perhaps our only quibble, and I say this to help the staff who must want to tear out their hair during each shift, is with the music: there is a kind of easy listening...

"We stayed for one night as we were going to a concert at Utilia. We arrived later than planned so decided to have dinner at the hotel which was delicious. Room was lovely and exceeded expectations. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed breakfast in our room. We will definitely book here again next time we visit Birmingham."

"The property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England.
The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. Unfortunately there's no dryer and since we were traveling during the winter it took a long time for the clothes to hang dry. We were in outer Birmingham...

"The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.

There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent.
Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful."

"For a cheap room it was clean and comfortable. Bit noisy as we were by the door (that let late night people in and out) but you can’t complain when you pay next to nothing. Excellent value for money. Beds were comfy. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff friendly. "

"What a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all.
Check in easy and free parking.
