Come winter, the snow lovers of the group will be antsy to get on the slopes, so don't hesitate and make your way to Winter Park Resort using the free shuttle available and ski till you drop. There are runs for all skill levels, so don't worry about being a newbie here! When the warmer weather comes around, trailheads are scattered about the area with varying lengths and difficulty levels, so take your pick and breathe in the mountain air as you soak in the natural beauty. Known as Mountain Biking USA, Winter Park and Fraser Valley turn from a winter wonderland into 600 miles of bike trails for novices and professionals alike.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Spot

Larger than expected, very clean and updated. About 10 minute drive to Winter Park Resort and right near downtown Winter Park. Easy to get to and had parking right next to the unit. Would 100% stay again and recommend this location.

New Year Ski Trip

Overall the property was very nice. The only concern was the temperature was less than 55 degrees when we arrived. It took over 24 hours to get the temperature up to 68-70 degrees. There were no space heaters available for us. It would have been nice to have access to space heaters. There was a broken lamp in the bedroom that did not work. WiFi access and TV were nice. Kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay here again, but would bring a space heater.

Perfect ski stay!

We stayed here for a few nights while skiing at Winter Park and this unit was perfect for us. Full kitchen with most everything you might need to cook simple meals etc. the bed was comfortable and the living space was easily usable by two people with all of their ski gear. Loved the proximity to the mountain and the bus that can take you to the mountain or into Fraser. We loved it! Communication with the Vacasa team was a bit of a challenge. They did not respond in the Vrbo app until after we checked out of the unit even though we had reached out a week before checkin. We were able to get a response through the Vacasa app itself. When we posed a question about a place to leave bags before check in or after check out due to not having a car they did not have any suggestions but also said we could absolutely not leave bags at the office or in front of the unit during these times. Beware if you do not have a car and may arrive or depart outside of check in/out times. Other than that the unit was lovely and we had a wonderful time!

No Wi-Fi!

Per the text instructions and the card in the condo, Wi-Fi server was supposed to be 1015. No such server existed on list and when added to “ other” an error message came up. Several calls were made by me & my husband over 2 days to management company. No resolution. No return calls that were promised. No wifi our whole stay! I had work that I needed to do and I had to go sit at Starbucks & the lodge at WP ski area & spent a whole day working instead of skiing. All because we had no wifi at our condo where I could’ve done my work in the evening! I do not recommend this property if you NEED WiFi or need something done by the management company.

Nice Stay!

This was a nice place. Perfect for what we were needing. It was clean and comfortable. We were worried about no AC on the third floor, but the weather was great. We were plenty cool. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water. The kitchen items were limited, but there was nothing else we needed. We were contacted soon after checking in to make sure all was fine. They were also quick to respond when we had a question. The location was great with easy access to the Fraser River Trail and within walking distance of a few restaurants and bars.

Cozy condo near downtown Winter Park

The property was cozy and within walking distance of downtown Winter Park. It was close to a bus and restaurants. My only feedback is that it is hard to get luggage and ski equipment to the 3rd floor and the kitchen was light on cooking tools.

Nice unit

Nice unit in a good location for skiing. I would echo the other reviews-not much in the unit in terms of supplies for cooking and eating and the shower door is still not working. Fine for our family of 3 for a couple of nights.

High Coubtry Haus #10-15

The condo is beautifully furnished, great kitchen appliances, beautiful flooring, nice bathroom. Only kitchen issue was no colander and no drinking glasses and cupboards very high. If you are short need to climb on something to get anything from second shelf up. The bathroom mirror hung very high so again,if short, there isno other mirror to use. Everything was very clean. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. The bed is very hard and could use a pillow top of some sort. Now, the downside, even though this says top floor (and I didn’t catch that) it should have had a disclaimer that unless you are a very hardy senior the stairs are difficult for carrying luggage up and down. As much as we loved the building location and interior we couldn’t do again. A very nice young man carried our suitcase up two full flights of stairs for us. And the lighting in stairs was very dark at night. If you are younger and don’t mind carrying things up two flights of stairs I would recommend. It’s only because of access that I don’t give these five stars.

Good value condo

This is a nicely renovated top-floor condo in the older Hi Country Haus development. The building is easily walkable to the Rec center with its 3 hot tubs, and is generally in a good location a couple blocks off the highway. Bed was comfortable, condo was pretty clean, WiFi was fast a majority of the time, TV channels included. I do recommend staying here, it was a good value. There are some minor things that could be improved: TV in the living room needs an HDMI cable instead of coax connection, either need to replace stools with chairs or replace table with bar-height table, need to re-hang the shower door, need tongs and new frying pan in kitchen.

Beautiful condo

This condo was exactly as depicted in the photos. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The appliances were great as well as the iron. The outside of the condo was dirty and dusty. It would be nice if someone could occasionally dust the stair rails. The only thing we missed inside the condo was a broom. With wood floors throughout we really needed to sweep while we were there for over a week, so we tried to keep it as clean as possible. The tall barstools didn’t work well with the table. They were too tall to sit comfortably while eating. Also, there were chairs outside for renters but we weren’t fortunate enough to have use of them as they were all taken by the neighbors…so we weren’t able to sit out and enjoy the scenery. Just a thought on that…it would be nice if a couple of camp chairs could be purchased and left inside the condo for renters to use. Overall this condo rates 5 stars and if it weren’t for having to climb two flights of stairs, we would definitely rent again. We’re seniors and my husband has a hard time since his knee replacements. We knew of the stairs beforehand but decided to give it a try this time.
