Dejlig hotel og omgivelser
Jeg rejste alene til Curacao i Marts 2014 og boede på Lions Dive, da jeg alligevel var på den side af kloden ifm. en forretningsrejse i USA. Det er lidt et familie- og parhotel, men det gik OK alligevel, da jeg primært brugte tiden på at lære at dykke. Ocean Encounters som ligger lige ved siden af hotellet er super godt. Kan kun anbefale dem. I hotellets reception var de flinke og hjalp med at finde en lejebil, da udlejningsfirmaet, som har kontor på hotellet, ikke havde flere biler den dag jeg skulle bruge en. Tog på en dagstur til Cas Abou stranden som også kan anbefales. Det eneste jeg ville ønske var bedre, er maden på restaurant Hemmingway ved hotellet. Nogle af tjenerne på Hemmingsway skulle lære at betjene kunderne, andre gjorde et super job. Kokkene skal bare tage sig sammen og overvejede hvad der kan gøre bedre. Morgenmaden på Hemmingsway var tilgengæld god til prisen. Stranden foran hotellet er god både for børn og voksne. Der var nok liggestole og vandet er roligt.

Best holiday ever
The Lions Dive & Beach Resort is one of the best places I've been for vacationb reasons. I went there with my wife and two girls, and the four of us agree that it's an awesome place. The hotel is nice and cozy, service is friendly and helpfull, and the underwater nature is beautiful. I can highly recommend this place for everyone

Terrible front desk staff. Attitude and not a smile nor welcoming. Cold food at all restaurants especially Hemmingways. Needs remodeling. Tiny showers not for adults. No water pressure.

Very nice grounds and staff. Everyone was very helpful. Restaurants on the property were varied in cuisine and top notch. Our room was a bit old and rather nousy especially when there wereots of children about.

It is one of the older resorts, but is very well kept up and the staff are amazing. I have stayed there twice and plan on going back again.

Excellent resort for both divers and non divers. Mambo beach is very nice with snorkeling off the beach and lots of fish to see. There were always loungers available on the beach. Ocean encounters scuba shop is right there for setting up diving trips. There’s an aquarium right there as well. Two bedroom apartment was very nice for the four of us. Hemingway has a great breakfast buffet right on site and also great for lunch or dinner if you didn’t want to venture out. Plenty of food options nearby. Ten minute taxi ride into town for higher end restaurants and some sites to see. The hotel was great about communication before and during the stay. I was able to set up diving, airport transfers and a rental car before coming through email. BRING ELECTRICAL OUTLET CONVERTERS! It’s 220V (European style) here. Overall, a great place in an awesome location, with nice staff and lots to do and see… or just chill. Definitely coming back.

Lions Dive was wonderful!! Our oceanfront room was beautiful. We really wanted a resort that has access to great snorkeling right from the beach and that’s exactly what we got! The restaurants had good food & were so convenient. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The dive center was very professional & our shore dive was amazing, right off the beach of the resort!! We will definitely be back!!

Staff was good. The room was nice but located on the end where the shops were so it was a bit noisy at night when activities were going on. Was not too much of a disruption, but noticeable.

A stay at LionsDive
The weather, beaches, and service at LionsDive were great! Unfortunately, I found the food to be subpar. I tried all the restaurants, except Nemo, more than once and was not pleased. If you're going for the food, I'd go elsewhere. If you're going for the beaches and service, it's a nice place to be.

We stayed at the Lionsdive in 2023 and had a wonderful time. We decided to come back in 2024 since it was so great. The location next to Mambo Beach is great for food and drinks. The beach and pool are also great. The big downfall in 2024 is the level of noise. They are doing construction which starts at 7:45 am in the morning. In addition to the construction, we were woke up at 5:30 am for a gas powered fogger for bug control and tree trimming at 7:30 on a Sunday. We tried to change rooms but the other rooms lacked a view. The manager never came out of their office to speak to us. Instead they gave us a free breakfast for 2 (we are a family of 4) and a cheap bottle of wine for our troubles. I would look to stay in a different place or verify that your room is not near the construction

Although the property offers many rooms, it felt like a boutique hotel. We had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. The rooms are pretty basic including a small fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Almost all rooms have a shared balcony. We went with another couple and both rooms had two beds, no King. We were very pleased with the welcome gift of sparkling wine, a lovely beach bag and 2 refillable water bottles. We used the last two items all of time. We are at 3 of the restaurants and especially enjoyed the pizza/pasta one and Nemo’s. Hemingways was fine for breakfast, although no a la carte option. The hotel is right on Mambo Beach which makes it convenient for swimming or visiting the many shops, (Kuki Coffee Shop 😋 ) and restaurants in the area. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island.
