It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. "We had a wonderful stay here! A perfect size stay for 3 friends getting away for a day at the spa and a day shopping and eating around town. The sidewalk picks up right before the accommodation so it's a really nice walk to the center of town! Easy check-in and had everything we needed. "

Tasteful and elegant guest suites, great linens, wonderful help-yourself amenities in a thoughtfully stocked pantry. All of this steps away from the storybook lakefront village of Skaneateles. One items of concern was the bathroom shower floor didnt have the safety trips on the tub floor making it very slippery I put a towel on floor as to not slip and fall BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT OTHERWISE"

"We have tried a lot of different hotels in the area and many times we have ended up checking out of them only to come back to the sleep in. The staff is phenomenal. The breakfast is on point. The coffee is always hot. We have enjoyed meals next-door in the restaurant. We highly recommend it."

"It's beautiful but kind of like not noticing when you pull in, and the AC was very very inefficient, I asked for a fan and I guess it's ok but honestly you should look into fixing the AC to central air or something not the indoor stand-up ones like what's there. Other than that beautiful."

"Overall this property was fine, the other issues I had were the doors to the room did not shut properly and I had a hard time locking them. You had to put the door handle in the upright position for it to be fully closed and locked, and it took a lot to do that. Also, the bathroom door did not shut all the way and the shower filled with water at the bottom while in it. Overall, a nice, quiet property that suited our needs. "
