"Sonesta ES Suites is located next to Galleria. Good location with bars and dining and take-out possibilities close by. Parking at the premises is for free, which is greated compared to neayby options costing 15-25 USD per day. I have stayed at The Royal Sonesta several times before (fully booked this time) so I chose Sonesta ES with the expectations of similar standard and service. But.... Generally it is dated, only one elevator, very noisy aircon, 2 days with no hot water, I have to ask for...

"Even with new construction at this hotel, they had everything well-maintained and cleaned. Parking is tough for anything over the side of a pick up truck at this time due to new construction, but they will accommodate."

"The AC water drips into our shower, room 431, from all the condensation from the AC units, so you have to keep the bathroom door closed and it will muffle the sound, during the season of AC useage. The toilet seat was broken and we asked them to fix it while we were there for 4 nights, but that never happened. Breakfast was good, hot, and there was a variety of foods and drinks. I loved how we could park in the garage on our floor level and walk right into our floor from the parking garage....
