Located deep in the heart of Texas, between Houston and Austin, you'll enjoy a serene pastoral setting filled with farmland charm. In the evenings, the sky opens up under a blanket of stars with views of the Milky Way. Wineries, farm shops, and charming small towns can all be found just a short drive from the home. Road cyclists will find plenty of scenic bike routes to explore. Seasonal blooms of Texas Bluebonnet fill the area with brilliant displays of color from March to May. The region, known as 'The Birthplace of Texas', played an important role in the state's founding history. The Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site (7.6 mi.) tells this story through immersive historical displays and artifacts.

The cottage is bright and inviting, with updated decor and furnishings equipped for complete modern comfort. A full suite of stainless steel kitchen appliances makes planning and preparing home-cooked meals easy. A smart TV sets the stage for family movie nights.

The front porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee, while a wood-burning firepit in the yard offers a cozy nighttime gathering place for s'mores and stargazing.

Security camera details: There is one camera located at the entrance. There are no cameras inside the home or facing towards the inside.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
