"This was a great place for us to stay in the Charlotte area and was a good value. It was clean enough ... though we did need to clean sticky areas off the floor, and wash a glass from the cabinet with greasy fingerprints and food residue on it. I usually wash dishes before I use them in VRBOs anyway, but it was gross. The bed was clean and comfortable and it was great being able to set the thermostat to our liking. I did bring some of my own dishwater so that I did not eat from disposable dishes all month. The host was very responsive and friendly while still respecting my privacy. "Mike was an excellent and responsive host, who went out of his way to stay in contact with us. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and a lot of time was spent on the point near the water. The kitchen is small but fully stocked and we lacked for nothing. Beds are comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower, and great views from every room. Loved kayaking right off the point. We will be back here, no doubt. "
