"Super nice hotel. Missing a more western breakfast. Excellent service. Missed information about what was available in the lounge as well as the TV only had japanese letters - we never figured out how to use it. All in all a super recommendable hotel."

"The traditional style of the building made for a very cool stay, the room was nice and felt spacious and the beds were comfortable to sleep on as well. I also loved the plants and neighborhood that surrounded the ryokan too. All made for a very comforting stay."

"The lake and mountain views were worth the price alone. The Ryokan itself is very beautiful and traditional, the tatami and sliding paper doors made it feel like we had gone back in time. The onsen is nice and note that it is for separate male and female, so if you want to share the experience with family or partner you may not be able to. My wife and I travel a lot, staying at 15+ hotels a year, mostly 5-star luxury, but this hotel and its service stand out as something truly special. If you’re in Asakusa and looking to spend a few nights, this place is absolutely memorable."
