We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, and unfortunately our room was in a very poor condition, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was clearly not properly maintained. The area around the sink and mirror had damaged and deteriorating sealant, heavy discoloration, and signs of moisture damage. The curtain rod was badly rusted, and the bathroom door was swollen from water damage and would not close properly. After we reported it, the hotel fixed the door, but that was the only issue they addressed. The biggest problem was the window blind. The cord was missing, so it could not be raised or lowered properly. We were in New York City and paid a significant amount for a room with a view, yet we could barely enjoy it. The blind was never repaired during our entire stay. Every day we had to stand on a chair while another person held it, and manually roll the blind up and down just to get daylight into the room or see the view. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable. The room felt neglected, and the overall maintenance was far below what we expected. The hotel had several opportunities to fix these issues during our stay but failed to do so. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel unless the rooms are properly renovated and maintained.
