super beautiful and charming hotel in Siracusa. the staff was really friendly and helpful--they booked an early taxi to take us to the airport and made coffee for us as we waited. it has a good breakfast included and it is in a good location for exploring Ortigia.

The location is unbeatable, almost at the bottom of the island of Ortigia but within 20 minutes walk of central Syracuse. The staff are among the most welcoming and helpful I've ever met, with excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. A real hideaway holiday!

The Charme Henry house hotel is an old hotel and rustic. It’s the staff that makes this hotel work. Warm and enthusiastic, they go out of their way to accommodate their guests. The breakfast selection is superb. Yes I would stay here again. Keep in mind the street side is noisy. Recommend you use their valet service, driving in Ortigia is bad enough, parking is problematic.

This is a charming and unique hotel in Otigia. Very well located for dining and shopping. Excellent breakfast - terrace with grapevines overlooking the bay. Parking was pricey $30E per night. Can be noisy weekend evenings.

The hotel was in a super location ideally situated for sightseeing. The staff were excellent couldn't do enough for you.

We would highly recommend this hotel, it is quirky and unique, the staff are attentive and helpful, it is ideally located for sightseeing around Ortigia, the breakfast is fantastic also, we will return again to Henry’s house

One of the most eccentric and beautiful places i have stayed. I believe it was Francesca and her colleague who gave us amazing service from checking in to check out. They offered secure parking with Silvio who was also a delight. It was such a special room with stunning views. Ortigia and this hotel were the highlight of my trip to Sicily. They gave fantastic recommendations. If I ever return to Ortigia, I will no doubt stay here and stay longer. The BEST!

Fürchterlicher Geruch aus dem Kanal, Peronal erklärte das mit Kanalsystem der Insel (Altstadt) und versuchte mit Reiniger in den Abfluß es zu beheben, was leider nicht half. Ich habe zu Hause den gleichen Abfluß in der Dusche und der hat einen Syphon, was hier fehlte und die Ursache war. Leider wurde mein Hinweis darauf ignoriert. Würde nicht mehr buchen.

Great hotel that is charming and unique. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I was supposed to be offered an upgrade or otherwise a reason to not receive one but instead were not informed at check in. Otherwise a fantastic place to stay.

Great location and the staff was lovely. Room was quite small and the shower was tiny. It's an old, quirky property so you shouldn't expect it to be more than that. For the amount of pedestrian and auto activity it's very quiet and the terraces are very nice.

A. Hôtel très bien localisé dans une vieille bâtisse en vieille ville avec de beaux atouts : service professionnel à la réception, excellent petit-déjeuner, belles terrasses communes avec vue sur l'eau, décoration colorée, ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante, bouteille de vin et mini bar (eau, jus) offerts dans la chambre, pantoufles avec logo de l'hôtel, literie et serviettes de bains impeccables. B. Toutefois, plusieurs défauts : 1. Forte odeur écœurante dans salle de bains envahissant la chambre. 2. Isolation insuffisante (bruits rue / chambre voisine / couloirs) via fenêtre fermant mal et porte légère. 3. Cabine douche exiguë. 4. Chambre avec vieux meubles à restaurer, porte salle de bains s'ouvrant automatiquement. C. La réceptionniste a expliqué que : - la salle de bains (chambre 205) devait être restaurée en hiver, - les suites sont plus confortables que les chambres standards, - les photos publiées dans le site web permettent de se faire une idée du niveau de confort de l'hôtel. - un "surclassement" aurait été octroyé en cas de chambres disponibles. D. Conclusion : sentiment de frustration et regret d'avoir sélectionné un hôtel certes plein de charme mais dont le confort de la chambre ne répond pas à l'attente alors que la note générale de satisfaction atteibuée par les clients est élevée et que le statut VIP est donné par Expedia. A noter que ceci fut ma seule expérience décevante en Sicile qui dispose de superbes hôtels alliant bon goût et confort.

Unique and charming property in fabulous location. Friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast, gorgeous terrace with wonderful view for enjoying glass of wine, coffee, conversation. Easy valet parking in limited traffic zone and walking distance to nearly everything!

This was one of the sweetest, indeed most charming, places we’ve ever stayed. Great location, rooms, everything. Breakfast on the terrace, overhung with grapes, overlooking the Ionian Sea, was also a treat every morning.

Perfect spot!
We loved this little piece of Ortigia. The staff is delightful (and very helpful), the art is various and fun, the rooms are a nice size, the breakfast was terrific. We found the location easily and were able to walk everywhere. Thanks!
