Harbour front location overlooking one of the world’s most fabulous cities and some of the best views in Sydney. Located on the top level (16) in an absolute Harbour front block. Two new lifts* and parking*. Heated pool & BBQ area* on the water’s edge (heated for 6 months from October). Spacious and bright with stunning views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Ideal for NYE fireworks. A pleasant ferry ride to the city centre, close to train, bus and local amenities. NO AIRCONDITIONING. Will accomodate up to 4 people on request at an extra charge of $50 pp/pn. The sofa bed will be made up accordingly. If only 2 people and sofa is required there is a charge of $50 for the extra linen and make up of sofa bed. Please advise in advance. THE SAFE DOES NOT WORK. Pool towels are NOT SUPPLIED. Absolutely NO PARTIES, NO LOUD NOISE OR DISTURBANCES AND NO SMOKING.

The living room has large picture windows with a magnificent Sydney Harbour view. You will feel like you can touch the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

Full kitchen, totally equiped with gas oven and cooktop, microwave and everything you need for nights at home, including a fabulous view!

There’s also a stunning view also from the bedroom where you have a comfortable Queen sized bed and lots of wardrobe space.

The bathroom is complete with a bathtub.

Parking is in front and rear of building plus there is a 4 level undercover carpark - first in best dressed.

Laundries are on all odd numbered levels, so best use level 15 unless in use.
$3 wash $3 dryer - takes $1 coins.

Dispose of garbage in the laundry rooms which is the room in front of the lift with the level number on it.

Easy check in and great communication with host who was keen to resolve any issues we had. The views from the apartment were fantastic and we could not have asked for a better location to visit the city. The ferry service is cheap, fast & excellent. Unfortunately the apartment is very tired and desperately in need of a refurbishment. The bed is saggy & uncomfortable, the carpets are stained & faded, the bathroom is dated and the kitchen is basic. Some of the blinds are broken and won't shut, there is no air conditioning but there were cooling fans available to use, but noisy & inefficient. The linen (towels/ tea towel etc) provided was old and in need of replacement and should not be used for a rental. The toaster was broken. There had obviously been a leak in the roof & there were rusty damp stains on the living room ceiling and walls. Having said all that, communication, parking & location were brilliant, so if you can overlook the downside then I would recommend this apartment for the location & views alone.

Note:(I am sharing this now as I wanted to see if my first impressions would fade, they have not.)Ride share has no way to drop you at the entrance, the only option is to walk your luggage thru the garbage area of the Sails restaurant, charming. Security entrance telephone number was incorrect. The units living room ceiling is water damaged an easy 2 hour fix with paint but it has been left with the reasoning that it's an insurance claim therefore it will take time to fix. No temperature control, ie air conditioning so the unit is almost unbearable to sleep in even at 23 degrees night temperatures. There are numerous, maybe 5 fans, this has obviously been a problem for previous guests. The unit is marketed as a penthouse level giving the impression of luxury, which is quite comical based on its style age and design. The View is fabulous but a Million dollar view in a dated poorly ventilated aging building only goes so far to make up for all the shortcomings. The term disappointed does not even begin to describe my first impressions. The icing on the cake is being told that on our first day, a glass company will be coming into the unit to fix a window, (likely unattended) and that we should not open the window for 2 days. Day time temperatures were 33-37 degrees. My message has been cut short due too 1500 character limit.

Stunning!

We absolutely loved our stay thank you. The view from the unit was so amazing it almost didn’t feel real at first but we quickly got used to it hahaha - how divine!The pool was an absolute bonus.We took advantage of the location and used the ferry services to get around - such a beautiful way to travel. Only downside was the only working lift broke down on Boxing Day with no service or maintenance personnel around, and we had to climb the stairs - 16 floors. But overall we just loved it and will be back!!

Perfection

Fantastic location with the ferry at your door and restaurants a short walk away. TV not needed as we gazed at the view, morning and night. Couldn’t be better. Can’t wait to rebook. Apartment clean and comfortable beds. Julie was an absolute pleasure to deal with she is prompt with communication and accomodating to our needs.

Views and Accessibility to Aydney!!!

The property has stunning views of Sydney Harbour and the ferry terminal is just at the foot of the property. The ferry ride to circlular quay which is close to the opera house and several points of interest is less than a 6 minute ride on the ferry. Such an added plus to be able to have the views in the water of the bridge and the harbour from both the penthouse property and the ferry trip across the harbour!

Awful , I was speechless and put keys back in the safe place and got a taxi out of there . Certainly not worth the money we paid for it and felt very let down . When a property is titled penthouse you’d expect better ! Only good part was the views !

Fantastic view...but

Great location, easy to check in, reasonable price, 16th floor, and the best view of Sydney harbour I can imagine. However, we were there for four days and the daytime temperature ranged from hot to very hot and there was no air conditioner that worked. There was a small dyson unit that I could not get to work, but someone came to fix it right away. So it was running, but to feel anything close to cool air you had to get within a couple feet of it so it did nothing to cool the room. There were multiple fans which helped, but basically whenever we were in the unit we just sat and sweated. I am not sure, but this Dyson unit might also be the heating system as well. One night we decided to cook in and had a tough time working the gas stove as it had no ignition system, but had to be lit using one of those grill igniters. The bathroom was small and the sink was kind of tucked under the medicine cabinet so you had to be careful not to bump yourself when using the bathroom sink. The furniture and kitchen utensils were adequate, but nothing to write home about. Our contact, Julie, was very responsive whenever we had problems or questions, but could do nothing about the lack of air conditioning. Again, great view, but I would make sure the weather is going to be comfortable before I would stay there again.

Wonderful views, easy public transport

Enjoyed being on the quiet side of the harbour, ferry stop on the doorstep so could head over to the city at our leisure then retreat when we had enough of the hustle & bustle. The apartment was as expected from the details in the listing. A tiny oversight with a cleaning matter, but wouldn't deter me from staying here again.

50-Year Bliss

The occasion was our 50th wedding anniversary. The conditions could not have been more favorable: sunny and warm days; cool and windy nights. Could not have been better

This was the best of both worlds. A clean, modern, well equipped apartment with the best possible views of the Sydney skyline and harbour views located at the the end of a quiet street, across from the ferry 7 minutes away from the heart of the city by crossing the harbour. By using delivery apps and eating in restaurants, all I needed was food for breakfast, Better than the best!

Quick getaway

We loved the views, we spent so much time gazing out the windows, especially at night with the lights and all the activity on the harbour. It was fantastic having the ferry so close to our doorstep, it made getting around so easy. Great spot to stay!

Views! Views! Views! Location! Location! Location!

What a wonderful place to stay for our first (but not last!) visit to Australia. The absolute most fantastic views imaginable from this top floor corner unit! Fell asleep each night and awoke each morning to views of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge from bed! Easy access to the Central Business District (Circular Quay stop) and Opera House via picturesque ferry ride which was mere steps away from the property. Brief walk (some uphill) to McMahons Point neighborhood restaurants and market on Blues Point Road - catching the bus at Ferry stop is also an option rather than walking uphill. Very clear and concise instructions made for simple, easy and painless check-in process. Owner was very quick to respond to questions and recommendations. Would very highly recommend to anyone considering this property - you won't regret it!

This is the best harbour accomodation I have stayed in. The location and public transport were second to none. Clean and well fitted out apartment, great views and really easy communication with the host. Highly, highly recommend.

DELIVERED AS PROMISED

The views, location, ease of access, comfort, all added up to a wonderful experience. The concierge on site, which we hadn't anticipated, was really helpful in showing us how to navigate the super transportation system in Sydney. The property manager was extremely helpful and responsive. It's top of our list fur or next to to Sydney.
