"I chose this place for its location near Mingus Park and the fact that it looked quiet. It was one of the best appointed rentals I’ve stayed at—every little thing I needed and went looking for could be found (except a pen or pencil). It smelled better than many coast motels or rentals—you know the smell I mean. It was a little bit hard to find and I arrived in drizzle, so I was a bit grumpy about that. "Everything was fine except....
The dishwashing detergent provided was useless! It took a huge amount of it to even begin to remove any fat from the dishes. Junk! At home, we use a generic brand that works well, but not this. UGH!!
The little cottage was cute, the view was amazing! Overall, we had a good time.
I thought about a 3 star review because of the soap, though.."

"This was, by far, my favorite stay on my Redwoods / Oregon coast road trip. The property was beautiful, the ocean view was incredible and the room was perfect. I appreciate all the little extras provided that made it feel like home. I was in need of nothing. Patrick met me at the gate and showed me around as soon as I got there. I will definitely be back and I will be staying longer next time!"

"Hidden gem on the lake. Quiet, clean, comfortable. There’s a market not too far away, but otherwise grab food in your way to the place if you’re getting in late. There’s aren’t a lot of nearby food options. We loved our stay. Worth it for the view out the living room window alone."
