The property was so conveniently located to dining and shopping. The was extremely clean, extremely comfy, and extremely stocked with anything you could possible think of to make your stay perfect! "I loved Grandpa's Hideaway! It's exactly what it says it is...an urban cabin! But totally "modern " in terms of amenities. It had everything I needed..Jean is a most fantastic host. The best I've ever experienced in any VRBO I have ever stayed in.I will definitely be back and I recommend to friends......especially those traveling solo."

Quick access to west Salem and located in a safe neighborhood. Our stay was on the shorter side so we did not have time to enjoy all the amenities available. Being a basement apartment, there are the usual...

The bed was comfortable and we had good lighting for reading. The apartment is in the basement and quite cool which is good when it’s hot. In cooler weather there is a heater to warm things up....
