"Check in details were provided before we arrived and when we struggled accessing the property the host was available to assist promptly. He was also very responsive and quite friendly. Unfortunately with the structure of the housing there was a lot of disturbing noise from the apartment upstairs which in this case the host probably had no control over. "I didn’t expect to spend as much time in the apartment while touring NYC, but plans changed and it ended up being the perfect haven. As other reviews mentioned, the apartment truly has everything you need. It’s surprisingly spacious for an attic unit, and the kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, a full-size refrigerator, and a microwave.I especially liked that the living room and bedroom each had their own thermostat. "The host is very nice and responsive. But...No paper towels or hand soap. No way to control the temperature. It was 66 and we were all pretty cold as the temp outside was 30 or below. Fireplace does not bring up the temp. The property smells like cigarette smoke. There were plenty of air freshners but those combined with the smoke odor really flared my allergies. It was very strong to me- but it may not bother someone else."

"When I arrived, the apartment was spotless. The host showed me where the thermostat was, so I was able to switch between AC and heat (Jersey in spring...prepare for all 4 seasons!). There is a family living upstairs, but they leave you alone and are so quiet, it's easy to forget someone lives upstairs. In my encounters with them, they were super nice. I would highly recommend this location, and would not hesitate to rent this apartment again."

"Where we stayed was very nice. We stayed there to visit New York City. It was 15 minutes to the tram to get to New York. The host was great. He checked on us. Everything in the home was clean. Everything was stocked. Well we had no problems no situations comfortable beds I would stay there again absolutely"

"This place was not fancy, but it was clean, welcoming, comfortable and convenient. We needed a roomy apartment where out of town family could convene to spend time with our new grand daughter--without invading the new parents. This was a great "hub" that allowed for everyone to visit as if we live locally."
