We had a fantastic Easter break at the house. The view over St Ives is abdolutely amazing and the location is perfect. The house has everything we needed fora very comfortable stay. The beds are all comfy. You can nip into the town for a pasty in just a few minutes and even though the walk back is quite steep it's a quick journey so not too bad! I would love to return. Already recommended to friends and family.

Wonderful accomodation, ideally situated, 10 minutes walk, down steep steps, to the harbour front and a similar time to get to Porthminster Beach.

Everything was fabulous from booking, owner communication to checking in. Plenty of parking for 4 cars in front of the property allowed easy loading and unloading of luggage. The 2 front bedrooms were large with picture windows and harbour views. The rear bedrooms faced onto the courtyard and were more compact. The living area was huge and had every thing you could possibly need with plenty of seating for everyone and the most mesmerising view from the floor to ceiling window wall. The property is at the end of a very quiet cul de sac above the town. The walk down is fine but it is a more challenging return - however we all managed it including pensioners and pram! If we were lucky enough to be in St Ives would we stay here again? You bet we would - it was perfect!! Thank you Rod and Beata

Really lovely stay with lots to do in and around st ives. The property is beautiful and very well equipped. The absolute selling point for this house are the stunning views from the living space The garden area needs a bit of an update if you wanted to sit in it for any period of time Overall highly recommend the property and owners very responsive.

A very clean,modern,warm,superbly equipped, 4 bedroom house with amazing views over St.Ives, and a 7 minute walk down to the harbour and shops. An excellent welcome pack! Highly recommended!

Our second stay in Chynalls and we enjoyed it just as much the second time. The spacious top floor living area has wonderful views of the town, harbour, to the sea. Just a short walk down (and up) steps to the centre of town meant no need to use our car, a great benefit in St Ives. And the house has easy and ample parking. The house is very comfortable well equipped, our hosts made booking and checking in so easy and the welcome pack was very generous. Highly recommended.

The views are as beautiful as promised! The property has everything needed for a great holiday. The house is located a short (steep) walk away from the town centre and two beautiful beaches. The parking is fine for 2 cars. The owners were very helpful.

Spent one week here. The owners had thought of everything. They live next door and you do not see them, but nice to know they are there . A short walk to town down the steps but keeps you very fit.. we had the most wonderful time..

This is our 10th South west coastal session, and we have stayed in 10 different locations and properties. This by far is the best, in quality and location and we will definitely love to come back.

We stayed for an October week in Chynalls and totally enjoyed our stay. The house iis in a perfect location, above the town with great views and just a ten minute walk to the shops and restaurants and the harbour. The open plan living area on the top floor is spacious and comfortable and well equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable, we slept well and the three bath/shower rooms meant no competition in the mornings. Parking: people who know St. Ives know that parking is at a premium and you do not want to have to drive to get access to the shops and restaurants and beaches. Chynells has a lot of qparking space, easy to access, and everything in St. Ives is within short walking distance. Worth a lot. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the welcome pack was generous. We had the typical mixed weather we expect in October but on the couple of rainy days we were happily relaxing in the house and watching the weather from the comfort of the big picture windows. We would very happily book the house again and recommend it highly.

We were not disappointed with our choice of booking Chynalls to spend a family holiday celebrating my husbands special birthday and our Ruby wedding anniversary. We last visited St Ives many many years ago and both thought it be would ideal to spend with our sons , partners and new granddaughter. Top of the range appliances, a generous welcome pack and everyday essentials like paper towels, loo rolls , cling film , shower gel etc etc. (Tissues were a miss however. ) A spacious , modern property. Rod offered to put the heating on but this was not needed. A few throws would be a nice addition during a winter stay. Ideal location , however St Ives is very hilly. Even at this time of year my son and partner were turned away from the Black Rock , on a Wednesday night , so bear this in mind when planning nice places to eat. We had a lovely family lunch at The Sea food cafe but we booked to ensure we got a table as a party of 5 plus baby. Well recommended. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
