"We stayed two nights at the cottage during Christmas. We enjoyed the cottage, nicely decorated and cozy with rustic charm. It was great that it was pet friendly. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with all communication. Would be a great spot to return to in the summer."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the South Shore Oasis. David thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and at home. The house has a very well appointed kitchen, gas BBQ, portable fans in many rooms, plenty of bath and beach towels and games for kids. He also spoiled our dog with treats and his own bed. The property is located on the main road to Chester, centrally located for day excursions to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove."

"We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!!"

"The overall impression was good. However, there was lack of attention to details in some aspects. There was no pool table as stated in the list of amenities, but we had fun playing ping pong. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes, pots, cutlery and extra spices and some food items The barbecue required cleaning.
