"We were a family of 8 staying for the first time at The Emory and all the staff were so welcoming and kind. The hotel itself is fairly new and in a great location across from Hyde Park. The rooms are a great size and the ABC Kitchen restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. The only down side was the roof top bar which is very small and couldn't accommodate our group size but we enjoyed a drink in the ground floor bar. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will be back, Thank you"

They don’t show up on the internet but they are there. This is a Vintage property that is well kept, clean but has its quirks too. The reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of tea, coffee and cookies provided. Would stay there again. "

I was rejected at the spa area because I’m pregnant (19 weeks) they said it was hotel policy but it’s not stated anywhere at all, so I wasn’t welcome at the spa or gym because their insurance didn’t cover.. I chose this specific hotel because they had a spa, as I wanted to relax after hours of shopping, however I was told I couldn’t use any of their facilities (spa and gym facilities) and when I questioned if I couldn’t decide that myself I was very rudely asked “would you really risk your unborn child for a spa?” Which obviously made me feel really uncomfortable and upset as a first time mum going a way with a friend for a weekend of shopping and spa.. When we spoke with the “manager”, there was no understanding or any apology at all. "

The hotel’s location is superb, offering easy access to nearby attractions and a vibrant local atmosphere. The only downside was the limited natural daylight in the room, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this minor flaw, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive.
