"This is a wonderful place to stay in Taos. Reasonably priced, the room was large and had a wood-burning fireplace. There is a full breakfast every morning and spacious grounds, including a dog-walking area. The historic square, galleries and shops are within easy walking distance. I have stayed here several times before, and I plan to stay here again on future trips to Taos."

A dog barked from 3 pm to 7 pm we asked the reception what was going on. She wanted to call the owners we don't understand that there is no rule that dogs cannot be left alone in the rooms. In the evening we were at the reception and relaxed when a huge German shepherd comes in. without a leash and without an owner. it ran around. our daughter was terrified. the lady...

"Our stay at Mountain View lodge was amazing!! The room was clean, so cute and comfortable!! The shower had the best hot water and water pressure! Could have stayed in there for hours! It was quiet and peaceful. The communication was very detailed and we had zero problems! Would absolutely stay there again!!"

"Very clean. It was spacious. The area was beautiful with the mountains right there and I'm in the valley. I got some good sunset pics with the mountains. It was more than I needed but this is what was available. Has a small kitchen but I only saw a pizza pan and an 8x8 pan. No saucepan. But I didn't come prepared to cook. Area was quiet. "
