"Nice hotel compared to price. Location is also fine, as close to a station and good bus line to the Bamboo forest. Walking distance to Gion. A very local and nice neighburhood on the other side of the Road."

"Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. "
