Staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived in the morning, far earlier than check-in time so there wasn't a room they could put me in available yet, but they were able to store my luggage for me and moved them to my room automatically once it was available (I wasn't around at the time as I already went off to sight see). I wanted a quiet room away from the street and was given one on a higher floor facing the back. I was able to sleep well so no complaints. The manager was chilling in the lobby cafe area but did not forget to check in with me to make sure I was happy.
The room was small, as I already expected, but it was clean. The room was stylish with cheeky phrases for various amenities. The bathroom amenities are more L:A Bruket which is quite nice (they did stick the conditioner in one of the shampoo bottles but it didn't affect my experience as there were two bottles of shampoo and the other bottle was correct). Shower is a rain shower (I had no flooding problems) but a shower cap is provided in case you don't want to wash your hair. I could only find one outlet by the bed, its not quite enough to charge all my devices.
I had a free drink with my Hotels.com reservation and was able to get a drink at the rooftop bar, the drink was mid the bar atmosphere was nice (it unfortunately was booked out with a private birthday party of sorts but they still let me up for the drink).
I booked at an overpriced time of the year, would stay again at normal prices.
