"We stayed two weeks at this property and very much enjoyed it. The cottage is near the Belfast rail trail and we walked on this every day. We liked that the location felt very private yet it was only about a mile walk on the rail trail to Belfast harbor. "This is a private, compact property that was perfect for our (too) short September weekend getaway along a beautiful part of the Maine coast. I spent hours out on the back deck overlooking the tidal cove, reading, sketching, but mostly just looking and listening. Lots of wildlife, including two ospreys, a raven, a great blue heron that came twice a day to fish, and even two mink that chased each other across the beach. Cottage was very well equipped and cozy. "Cute cozy cottage right on Penobscot Bay. Very thoughtfully supplied with honestly more updated conveniences and small appliances than we expected to find, given the rural setting. The spiral staircase to the bedroom was easily manageable. We did not mind the only bathroom being on the first floor. The view of the bay is just stunning. "Four days on coastal Maine. Chose Camden area so we had easy access to Arcadia National Park ( two hours to the north) and easy day trip to Boothbay area( two hours to the south) and there is plenty to do in Camden or take a trip over to Portland. "

"For a small cottage it was spacious, had modern amenities. The listing says harbor view but you have to look thru power lines, power poles and a lobster processing plant. The side stone steps are overgrown with vegetation making it hard to maneuver. All in all a good experience."
