"The house and grounds were very private. located overlooking a quiet lake. Although neighboring houses were in reasonably close proximity, the area was very quiet. The house was well stocked and comfortable for the two of us.. Opportunity was available for both indoor and outdoor dining. Bugs were at a minimum, Shhh!.We spent time exploring Hosmer Pond each day. Only occasional other boaters were on the lake. only small motors were allowed, so the noise was at a minimum.Check out the toboggan...

"Wonderful relaxing spot in Bayside. This charming historic cottage was quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed for a peaceful stay. The owner was easy to deal with, very responsive to questions, and accommodated our last-minute plans. Great location for unwinding and exploring the area."

"This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!"

"What a great place to stay and area to explore. A great time was had. Listing and reviews were accurate. Highly recommend Primo restaurant in Rockland and Mcloons lobster shack. The cottage was great. Only negative I can think of is the amount of hot water in the shower which we knew going in thanks to reviews. Would definitely utilize this space again. "

"These hosts are to be commended. This cozy cottage is a real gem. Thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything needed. Beautiful views, sitting by the firepit watching the wildlife, sunsets and lobster boats come and go. Very peaceful. Looking forward to returning."

"We had a great stay. It is conveniently located, quiet, beds are comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with utensils. The backyard is private and spacious with gardens. "

"This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. There was more than enough space for our family of three, and room for a few more if needed. The pond was great for swimming and taking out the canoe. The house was well appointed and lovingly maintained with just the necessities needed for our week long stay. The location was in close proximity to Camden (10-15 minute drive), and a lot of other must see destinations in Maine (Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc) are within 60-90 minutes. There was a sailing...

"The location is amazing. Tenant’s harbor is my favorite area in mid coast and then this cottage could not be better located. Had kayak delivered by Port Clyde Kayak (great place) and paddled daily right from outside the cottage. Easy walk to General store and Happy Claim (another great place). The cottage is lovely and well stocked kitchen for all cooking equipment ( bring your own coffee though). Bed very comfortable. FYI there are not ceilings in bedroom which I loved looking up at rafters...

"Beautiful Maine home with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay and spent time kayaking direct from the property, swimming in the nearby quarry and at the beach, and relaxing dinners on the deck. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and house was very clean on arrival. Would stay again. "

"Cove Cottage turned out to be a terrific extension location for our mini family reunion. We have a house in the area, but had more people coming than we could accommodate. Cove Cottage was perfectly located and its being right on the water made it irresistible. We showed up to a clean house, with everything that was advertised — from both bath and beach towels for everyone, to bedding, to the well equipped kitchen. "Perfectly sited home overlooking Port Clyde, manager very responsive. Comfortable Outdoor seating to enjoy stunning sunsets. Many wonderful places to visit - Monhegan Island, Owls Head, Camden, Rockport, Rockland. Lots of dining options- great breakfast at the Ocean House, Primo’s is a fine dining must- fishermen have great lobsters and crab cakes at the end of Co-Op road if you venture down to say hello! "
