"This cottage is ground level with an adorable nautical themed appearance. The property host was first rate. Cottage is situated on a quiet dead-end street with parking out front. There is almost no traffic on the street but it connects to a through highway with easy access to nearby services. Old Orchard Beach is nearby with scenic ocean views. We took advantage of the Downeaster Amtrak station a half mile away that afforded convenient transportation to Boston. Supplies and furnishings,...

"What a Gem! The yurt was great, comfortable and relaxing. We stayed here for our 20 year anniversary. Had all our needs met and the owner communication was great and quick! I do however have to say this and I am not sure anything can be done about it. There were many spiders I had to kill in our stay. I know we're in the woods and It might be hard to control the pest situation but it was alittle unnerving with the amount of spiders we had to kill.With that said I would still choose to stay here...

"WOW, UTTERLY PERFECT!! I couldn't have found a better house. Private and cozy cabin right on the water with ample space, updated rooms and amenities, pristine landscaping, its own dock, kayaks, and fire pit. House was spotless and has everything that you need. Host was very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend for anyone. The whole island is beautiful!"

"We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. "

"Angelic and private cottage / camp. Great views of the lake. Perfect for my wife and i . Home was clean and close to restaurants/ activities. Abundance of wild life and was a relaxing stay. The only drawback is the home sits at bottom of hill on the lake resulting in a lot of stairs to traverse to get to the home . Otherwise perfect for what were looking for ."
