Hotel is known as a high end hotel; however the amenities are non-existent. No parking, no complimentary breakfast, gym was small and completely open and visible with missing equipment. Bed and furniture in the room uncomfortable and not relaxing.

Stayed there to participate in a Half Marathon that started and finished at the Arch right outside the lobby door. The hotel was very busy but we did not hear a soul from inside our room. Will be back.

What we didn't like was the Air-conditioner was set to the heater. Was way to hot in the room. Also Parking is across the street and they charge you $7.00 every time you leave the parking garage. If you leave your car in there more then 24 hours they charge you double to get out.

Rooms were cold. Heating was not adequate for my stay. For meetings on site, lunch is not available in downstairs restaurant. Dinner in that restaurant was great!

Nice remodeled property downtown and close to restaurants. Staff was very friendly and a plus the hotel is dog friendly and across the street from a nice dog park.

Not really business convenient
2 issues: 1. The hotel does not have shuttle service to and from the airport. So beware, prepare to use taxi, uber or lyft. On the way back to the airport the front desk called and arranged a taxi the evening before. It was about $40. They never showed, or the Hotel never really called. Fortunately I gave myself A LOT of time to get to the Airport. Uber was charging $57. It is a 15 minute ride to the Airport. (2)The rooms are clean but lacking enough electric plugs to charge computers, smart phones, and tablets; not particularly business friendly. - positive: within walking distance to the University.

The hotel was beautiful and staff very friendly. Restaurant food excellent. My only complaint is the beds, awful. Need new ones or at least the mattress flips. Other than that i highly recommend.

I love that this property allows dogs and there's a dog park right across the street. My dogs feel welcomed by staff and guests. Thats important to me because i bring my pup everywhere so i stay here every time I'm in reno. I was bummed this time that when i booked with expedia, it said free parking was included. When I was charged for parking, i inquired about the charges and was told that free parking had changed. Its now 7$/ day. And the dog fee is now 75$ so throw an extra 100$ onto your weekend reservation!

Hip, Big Rooms, quiet stay.
I love the design of the rooms and sitting areas- very hip mountain / outdoor theme and beautiful wallpaper through out. Room was quiet, huge and comfortable. Staff was so pleasant - we got hit with 2 feet of snow and all took care of each other, they made me not worry about leaving my van in loading overnight because it was to dangerous to move with out plow. Thank you!

The parking garage arm came down on top of my car and dented my car. They traded me like it was my fault, and they still will not return my calls and take care of my car. They pulled the video they seen the arm come down and damage my car.

I have two dogs. One that is a pug and a nightmare to walk out to go pee and they were so patient with us. Hotel is so quiet and not crowded. Right across the street from the el dorado.
